We zijn zeer tevreden. Netjes en gezellig hostel. Midden in het centrum dus je kan van daaruit alles lopen wat je zou willen zien als je van lopen houdt. Gezellig en beleefd personeel.

My favorite hotel in Budapest!
After staying many many times in Budapest (work & pleasure) this is definitely the best hotel I've stayed in. Pricewise, more than worth it. I've been here several times now and this place never lets me down.

Echt een fantastisch hostel
Het hostel is erg gezellig ingericht. Er staan beschikbare computers en een telefoon om gratis naar huis te bellen. Het personeel spreekt goed Engels en is erg gastvrij. Er is een keuken waar je je eten kunt bereiden en opeten. Je kunt er gratis koffie of thee zetten. Ook is er een bar aanwezig. Ze hebben goed contact met restaurants waar je 10% korting kunt krijgen en ze regelen een taxi voor je zo nodig. Deze is ook erg goedkoop en haalt je makkelijk op van het vliegveld. Het ziet er allemaal schoon en erg goed verzorgd uit. Een echte aanrader dus!!

Erg leuk hostel op zeer centrale plaats Boedapest
Voor een korte citytrip een paar dagen in het Maverick City Lodge geslapen. Bij aankomst de mogelijkheid om bagage tijdelijk in een bagageruimte te leggen zodat wij gewoon de stad konden gaan verkennen, erg fijn. Personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Weten veel van de verschillende attracties in Boedapest en helpen bij het regelen van allerlei zaken. Kamer was comfortabel en mooi, zag er erg nieuw en strak uit. Hostel ligt op een heel centrale plek in Boedapest, ideaal. De wijk er omheen is heel gezellig en met een paar minuten sta je in hartje Boedapest. Enige nadeel hierdoor was dat het hostel in een uitgaanswijk lag, dit zorgde 's nachts voor nogal wat geluidsoverlast. Een paar oordopjes is dus geen overbodige luxe! Verder niets dan positief over dit hostel!

Great stay and facilities are all good. I stayed in a room of 8 however my bed was bottom right by the door so your constantly hearing the door slam and people going in and out as well as noise in the corridors. The doors go quite a lot as toilets and showers are all outside the rooms but besides the noise at night it’s a good place to stay. Easy location to get anywhere and close to lots of transport

We really enjoyed our stay in Maverick’s City Lodge! It was super convenient, super good location with many sights, delicious cafes and bars just a few steps away. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There is a big shared kitchen, where you can cook your foods, we stayed in a private room, everything was fine, we have no complaints. We are definitely going to come back soon!

I stayed two nights and the stay was very comfortable. The room and the kitchen were clean and efficient. Staffs are friendly and nice. The price for the stay was very low. I especially liked the espresso machine that I could drink espresso anytime for free. Some young people had fan in the kitchen and if you are very sensitive to noise and your room is close to the kitchen (for example 101 or 102), you may be annoyed. I stayed in 102 and had no problem. I rate 10 out of 10.

The experience was really good. The hostel wasn’t too noisy during the week, just little bit during the week end, but depends of the people that stay in the hostel. The average age isn’t too young.

Paula, Oris, and Nicki were phenomenal. Not only was their service great, the made it easy to find and book things to do in the area and promoted great excursions with the hostel. I was so impressed with all this hostel had to offer. definitely worth the stay and in such a great area. Almost everything was walking distance or a bus ride away. On the other hand, I think most hostels can use a good power wash, especially in the bathrooms. Luckily the bathrooms were cleaned thoroughly daily

It has pros and cons
Pros: the bed was comfortable and the curtains made it feel very private. The hostel is conveniently located in the city center. Cons: you can hear everything that happens in the hallways, whether it is doors slamming, or guests talking very loudly or screaming at 4:00 AM. The showers were cold (I stayed in the summer, but nonetheless, it would have been nice to have at least lukewarm water..). Also, when I checked-in, the lady at the reception desk was very condescending.

Great place to stay
Nicki at checkin was enthusiastic and informative. The hostel had two eating establishments connected. One was the canteen where for 8euros you could have all you can eat breakfast. Typical breakfast foods and okay tasting. The other was Fat Mama's. If staying at the hostel there is 10% discount. I ate there several times and it was always very good. The one complaint of the hostel was the noise level at night. It is located on a pedestrian street in the Jewish quarter. This is a very hip place with lots of cafes and bars. Most nights by 11 pm it got somewhat quite but one night the noise went on to almost 3 am. Overall the hostel is very good with lots of activities to keep you busy if you want to participate. Also, for 10 euros they have a laundry service (wash, dry and fold).

This is one of the best hostels ive ever stayed in. Great location. Super clean rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and common area. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Everyone stayong there was chill and observed the quiet hours. Highly recoomend this hostel

It was much nicer than many hotels I've stayed in, and the service was impeccable. Orsi was the best! She was so friendly and enthusiastic with many suggestions for restaurants and things to do around the city. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable.

The staff were super friendly and the location was awesome. Some spots in the room could’ve been cleaned better but the thing I really disliked was our private room had the lowest water pressure and was cold. Strange because the faucet had pretty warm water running from it. Also I had friends that were also staying in the rooms that had shared bathrooms that said the water pressure was good and water was hot. Aside from that, pretty decent especially for the price!
