Good hotel.
Good hotel. Little note on service this time. There was a storm and we stood in front of the main entrance, but it was closed and they didn't come to get us. We had to walk in the soaking rain to the side entrance. An employee with an umbrella would have been nice

Uitstekend hotel ziet er prima uit het ontbijt is ook super verzorgd. Is een aanrader als je Boedapest wil bekijken.

Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en fijn zwembad
Het gaat hier om een typisch Novotel, dus kids for free, wat een zeer redelijke prijs voor kamer met ontbijt oplevert. Zwembad was aangenaam van temperatuur (wat niet altijd evident is in Europa), maar er mochten wat meer ligstoelen rond staan (op het aangrenzende terrras bijvoorbeeld). Diner was een afknapper, kan zelf véél beter koken en ligging was niet zo evident (bus of tram/metro naar het centrum en weinig soeps in de omgeving). Wel kleine shopping mall met degelijke supermarkt vlak naast hotel. Troeven: Prijs, zwembad en gratis WIFI (ook op kamer). Nadelen: Eten en ligging.

Dit hotel is een aanrader voor een bezoek aan Boedapest. Groot hotel, parking aanwezig €15/dag. Uitstekend ontbijt. Het aantal ligstoelen in de wellness zou absoluut meer moeten zijn(maar 2 beschikbaar).

goed gelegen om stad te bezoeken
Het hotel was vanaf de snelweg goed te vinden. Er was een ruime parkeergelegenheid tegen betaling. Vlakbij was er een winkelcentrum en een opstapplaats voor openbaar vervoer. Met een goedkoop dagticket kon je per metro, tram en trein de hele stad doorkruisen.

Dit is een zeer goed congres hotel in Boedapest met prima personeel. Een busrit van nog geen 10 minuten brengt je rechtstreeks in het centrum van Boedapest. Bus stopt tegenover het hotel.

Das Hotel ist an einer guten Lage. Vielleicht hat es ein bisschen zu viele Kinder, welche rumrennen. Speisekarte im Restaurant dürfte mehr Empfehlungen haben.

Disappointing Stay at Novotel Budapest City
I recently stayed at Novotel Budapest City, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The rooms appeared dated and were not well-maintained, giving an overall lackluster impression. Check in took over half hour as they in error messed up my booking. To my dismay, both the pool and spa were unexpectedly closed during my stay, without any prior warning. This was particularly disappointing as these amenities were a significant factor in choosing this hotel. Adding to my frustration, the management refused to provide a refund despite the inconvenience caused by the closed facilities. This lack of flexibility and understanding further marred my experience. While the location of the hotel is convenient, these issues significantly impacted the overall enjoyment of my stay. I hope the management addresses these concerns to enhance the experience for future guests.

The room was not cleaned properly. Once they did not do the dishes, once they did not do the beds and the maids also entered the room in the morning without knocking. The breakfast was not good. Often the food run out and so also the plates and bowls. Several morning they did not have such a basic thing as orangejuice or fruits to make fresh juice.The scrambled eggs were compact and overcooked. The room was noisy.
