The shower was clogged. The water went all the way into the room. When we told them they ‘fixed it’, however it was not fixed. After 3 days it was sort of normal. Also the bedsheets were stained.

Goeie ligging, maar meer van verwacht
+ punten: Goeie ligging en zeer vriendelijk personeel - punten: Zeer luidruchtige kamer! Heb er nauwelijks geslapen. Hotel ligt langs de ring rond de stad. Constant sirenes, verkeer, getoeter, luidruchtige mensen...Ook bad en douche waren vuil. Onze souvenirs werden gestolen uit onze kamer, doch personeel heeft een goeie oplossing geboden.

I would like to thank you for mentioning our very friendly staff, they really deserve the recognition. Also, I am pleased that you loved our location and you could easily find shops and pubs in our neighborhood. On the other hand, I regret to hear that you had some problems due to the street noises. Since we are located in the center, street noise is unfortunately inevitable. As for the bath and shower, we pay a lot attention to keep every area clean and tidy, so it is quite surprising that the cleaning service left to be desired. Lastly, I would like to say sorry for the souvenirs, I would like you to know that the things you described are not typical at all in our hotel. Very nice hotel with excellent service. The breakfast was delicious. As Budapest is not expensive for West-Europeans, this hotel was a good opportunity for us to have a rather luxurious stay for not too much money.

It is near public transport, only 5mins walk away from the underground station. Accessible to shopping centers and restaurants. We had a good sleep as the bed is so comfy. Lastly, it would be a 5 star rating if the staff could have been friendly, welcoming and smiling.

Lovely hotel. We had a room for three. The bed settee was adequate for a child. Room was on the small side but had everything we needed. Nespresso coffee maker in the room and complementary water. My stay was good, only giving it 4 star because of the noise and my room not being ready when I arrived. Had to wait for house keeping to get the room ready. Mind you, I arrived at 9pm. The staff when cleaning in the morning are quite noisy also. Then at night, other guests are noisy also so didn’t get much sleep. In general the hotel is quite nice, breakfast has a few variety and okay. Would stay here again hopefully next time it would be quieter.

Great hotel with room for improvement in F&B
Nice clean hotel. Room/shower was tastefully decorated, comforatable, clean and cozy. Hotel staff were kind and courteous. F&B service needs to improve. Lots of food in the b'fast buffet but lacking quality and presentation. Coffee was weak and not hot and water for tea came from the coffee machine at low temperature so there is no way to have decent brew! Kindly improve on this.

An overall good experience at Beke in Budapest; breakfast is the top notch of the Hotel, while the personell at reception could be slightly more incline to customer service Hotel location is quite good for walking around the city.

Great hotel, bad restaurant
I stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed. The hotel is very clean, has great facilities and lots of common space. It was all going so well, until I took a meal at the restaurant upon checking out, and it was very bad. I couldn't eat any of it. I felt obliged to say something when it came to paying as I had barely touched the food, and the waiter couldn't care less. Nor could the reception staff when I mentioned it. Bottom line: definitely stay here, but avoid eating at the restaurant at all costs

I am extremely pleased. I've traveled to 36 countries and lived in five and must say this hotel exceeds my needs and desires yet for an extremely reasonable rate. I am a 65-year-old female who drove alone into Budapest from Germany. The sitting area is great! Two comfortable chairs with a table you can work from or eat from at the right height. The TV is huge with all the information you need for the hotel from room service to laundry, transportation, maps, etc. The coffee/tea station is super. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is well appointed, and nicely sized with a large deep tub with an excellent shower head and strong water pressure. Parking [P] was a breeze. Enter from the very small one-way street from the rear of the hotel. You'll see a small [P] for underground parking. Take the Elevator to the ground [0/E] floor to reception and you're in your beautiful room right away. The staircase is magnificent. Thanks for a great stay! E. Shoemaker
