The hostess is very nice and easy to communicate with. Property is decorated with a unique feel. Some observations I had about the property that I kind of picked up that couldn't really get from the listing. -My room was located over a bar and located on ground floor. Unfortunately, there weren't any dark blinds to cover the window, only see through ones. While they work during the day, during the night they turned my room into a movie theatre for anyone smoking outside the bar between 9pm and 12am. I feel add a blind set of curtains to cover the window at night, and open them up to leave the see through curtains during the day would solve this. -The street outside was under major reconstruction at the time of my stay, which added to the noise. Obviously it will end at some point, but from the amount of stuff they were doing, it will last to at least summer 2024. -Honestly, I remember the hostess mentioning about how to lock the front door, but I was tired from the long transit from BC and missed the explanation. A demonstration would have actually helped, but I figured it out in the end after a couple of days. To lock, use the same key you use for your own room and raise the handle up as you turn the key.

This is not a hotel but an Airbnb. For 1 night it is ok but more not at all as there is no cleaning, no toilet paper refill, 1 small shampoo on arrival so you need to buy yours for the next 4 days. Last but not least, sooo noisy therefore you can't sleep properly, the walls and door are made of paper. It is not a hotel, we do not recommend it

It is not a hotel, but small rooms and a kitchen. The hostess needs to know the approximate arrival time, as there is no staff on site. Nice and clean room. Soft bed and good pillow in the Superior room. It is nicely decorated. The air conditioning did not work. Close by is the "Cosy Café" with breakfast and lunch, which cooks good food.

An okay place to stay
The owner tried hard to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Although the room was comfortable, the decorations were a little tired and information for the area was sadly lacking. Overall it was just a rented room and not what I expected from a boutique hotel.

One night in Budapest
Serenity Boutique in Budapest was a wonderfully peaceful place to stay only a couple of blocks away from the metro. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Every thing was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Even though I was a bit early, the hostess was on site to greet me. If I am ever in Budapest again, this is the first place I will try to book.

A cosy place
A centrally located cosy property where we stayed for 4 nights. It is a 5 mins walk to Nyugati station, bus stop and Metro. It's next to Andrassy street, a 15 mins walk to the city centre (Deak Ferenc, Jewish quarters), and in the reverse 15 mins to the Heroes Square and Schezeni Bath. It is a quiet old residential area. The property opens out directly to the street which is a bit dirty and at night a bit lonely, but we never had issues as it was only a 2-3 mins walk. Once inside, it is a nice warm cosy place. It is not a hotel, more an Air BnB kind of thing. There are no dedicated check-in and checkout, and no housekeeping. Beata is a lovely lady who stayed in communication from the moment we booked the room and was there to receive us. It has four lovely well-cared for ensuite rooms with a common living space. The common space has a well-equipped kitchen with coffee, tea, cereals, etc. Nice crockery and cutlery. The room size is enough for 02 persons, is neat, and has all the amenities. The heating was nice and warm. Very comfortable beds, clean linen, and towels. A nice mid-size modern bathroom. The only issue was by the 5th day we had run out of clean towels and linen. We did mention it to Beata and she said she will leave some extra towels. Overall, it is a comfortable place to stay and provides easy access to all the attractions in Budapest. It is a great value for money.

This is NOT a HOTEL. It's an AirBnb where you have a private room and bathroom, but it's not completely private. Should NOT be listed as a hotel. Does not have reception or room service. They give you a half a blanket for a queen bed if it's just you in the room. One set of towels for 4 days I stayed. I'm not sure how it has a 9.2 rating, this is absurd.

Great place to stay
Really nice, tidy and clean place. Would definitely recommend. It is close to any form of city transport like a bus or a tramway. Just bare in mind the bigger room has 2 single beds but we were able to swap the room for the one with a double bed.

ROMANTIC FAIRYTALE
Serenity Boutique is definitely one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Located in the heart of Budapest, 4 minutes from the metro station and 7 minutes from an Octogon Square, full of trams, shops and restaurants, inside the hotel one can feel so relaxed, happy, warm and safe. There you find everything necessary for a good rest: big and sunny room with comfortable shower and toilet with free toiletries, orthopaedic bed (actually 2 small beds, standing together), automatic jalousie, clean as new towels and bedsheets, small refrigerator, air conditioner, air fresh machine, warm floor system etc. You can regulate the hitting by yourself. The large and cosy kitchen is for the use of 4 rooms and it is really amazing, the dream of every woman. It contains toast making, washing, coffee machines, electric kettle and oven, dishes and devices for all type of cooking, refrigerator, ironing set etc. Free still water, sweets, cookies, bread, tea bags etc. included in the price. And the most pleasant - candles which you can lit are everywhere with fresh flowers (we had Lavander). Stuff is very friendly, polite and helpful (thank you cordially, Miss Tunde) and comes only upon the request. We were lucky to be the only guests in the location so we had kind of a huge apartment just for us and free upgrade of our room. The place really deserves every penny it costs. We will definitely stay here again when in Budapest. We have video proofs, can send upon the request.

Once inside the building, the rooms and reception/kitchen area are nice and clean. Pictures shown are an accurate representation of this. The staff were fine. The problem is that you cannot contact them. We called dozens of times, sent emails and messages on Expedia but had no response. The staff aren't at the hotel very often, so if you have a problem of any kind (which we did), you're on your own. We slept well apart from the last night. From the early hours of the morning, there was a lot of loud banging.

I liked the fact that the kitchen/dining area was stocked and available to guests in order to make drinks or food if required. My only negatives were that our towels were not changed at all during our four night stay and there were no instructions as to how to work the air conditioning.

Good central location, with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. The apartment we stayed in was spotlessly clean and perfect for our requirements, it also has a shared fully functional kitchen, we didn't end up using it because of the great value options on the doorstep! I would definitely recommend a stay here.
