  • Prachtig gerestaureerd penthouse-appartement op de vierde verdieping van een gebouw in Parijse stijl met slechts 8 appartementen. Fantastische locatie om Buenos Aires te zien. Het appartement werd in 9 maanden gerestaureerd om de grand living terug te vorderen aan het begin van de jaren 1900. Kosten noch moeite zijn gespaard om het rijke gevoel met het geïmporteerde hout na te bootsen en toch de keuken en badkamers te moderniseren. Wekelijkse schoonmaakdienst inbegrepen.

    Zeer hoge plafonds met sierlijke pleisterwerk gekenmerkt door de houten details en originele pinotea Noorse houten vloeren die een warme sfeer creëren. Er is een inkomhal, een aparte woonkamer / woonkamer en eetkamer, een grote slaapkamer met een luxe queensize matras en luxe beddengoed met een volledig uitgeruste ensuite badkamer met jacuzzi en douche.

    Tweede badkamer 'loft-stijl' boven de keuken met een tweepersoonsbed en een half-badkamer. Designkeuken met gasfornuis, vaatwasser en koelkast. Kleding wasmachine ook. Woonkamer heeft een Bose Wave-stereo en kabel-tv met een nieuwe smart-tv verbonden met internet. High-speed draadloos internet in het appartement. Sfeerverlichting in elke kamer. Schoonmaakservice eenmaal per week. Airconditioning voor de zomer en centrale verwarming (watergeforceerde radiatoren) in de winter. Er is een lift (smeedijzer in Parijse stijl), zodat je niet zo veel vluchten hoeft te lopen (tenzij je al het geweldige eten in Buenos Aires afwerkt).

Loved the apartment. It's as airy, gracious and comfortable as it looks in the photos. The owner and property manager were a pleasure to deal with -- friendly, helpful and quick to respond. We had lots of praise about our stay and no complaints. Also loved Buenos Aires. We were here for a week, saw much, and felt there was much more to see. The neighbourhood is very walkable with lots of small shops offering everything a visitor would need. We hope to return some day.

Fabulous apartment, owner and city

This charming apartment in an old building is the perfect way to experience Buenos Aires. The antique cage elevator alone is worth the trip.

Great Location and the Best Host

The owner and local host were beyond wonderful in helping us navigate all aspects of our trip! We can't thank them enough!! The property is lovely and a great location to see all of the different areas of the city via public transportation or walking.

How to Make Buenos Aires Even Better

Staying here was one of the highlights of my time in Buenos Aires. The apartment is beautiful. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen and apartment are well equipped. The location is convenient to grocery stores, lots of shopping, two Subte stations, and even language schools. Dave and Miguel are both attentive and helpful. I hope I'll get to stay here again!

Outstanding apartment!!

Lots of old world charm as well as the best of modern amenities! Dave was so helpful, and Miguel met us at the door when we arrived to show us around. The House Book was indispensable, with hints about transportation, money exchange, local restaurants and pubs. We will definitely be returning!! Loved it.

Fantastic charming property in Palermo.

Great location. We rented for nearly 3 weeks, while we flew in and out of areas of Argentina. Property has a ton of character with wood floors, doors, trim, all in great shape. Highly recommended. Any challenges were quickly dealt with by the property manager.

The apartment is lovely and centrally located. The manager is wonderful, and helpful if and when things come up! There is a day book that gives you up to date information to make ones stay more comfortable! Highly reccomended for those looking for a clean centally located , and architectural representation of a period 100 years ago.

True gem of an apartment hosted by amazing Dave

Comfortably located for visiting the diverse neighborhoods of BA, the apartment captures the Paris of the early 1900s, complete with an “ancient” open elevator that works perfectly. More relevant, perhaps, is that you could not wish for more attentive and helpful hosts than Dave and manager Miguel. Important to my wife and me, the firm bed was very comfortable, the WiFi was fast and reliable, the shower pressure great, the kitchen very adequate, and a good AC (summertime stay). The apartment has a spacious living room and dining room.

The apartment was remarkable. Sparkling clean and in a perfect location to explore and experience beautiful Buenos Aires with its shops, cafes, bars, book stores, antique shops just a few minutes walk. Do yourself a favor and step across the street to marvel at the facade of a 4 story building completed in 1907! Your ride to the 4th floor apartment is in a "bird cage" elevator. '14 ceilings, with framed wood doors and entry ways throughout. Tasteful art, some pieces done by one of the owners adorn the walls. All modern conveniences are available in the bathroom including: shower, jacuzzi bathtub, bidet and toilet. The kitchen has everything needed as well. You can stay home if you like and cook a meal. There is a grocery store just a few steps from the entrance. There is a washing machine as well in the kitchen area Above the kitchen is an alcove for sleeping or just hanging out. We spent a week in the apartment and were always happy to return the apartment in the evening.

Five days in Buenos Aires

This apartment is all it was claimed to be in the ad: a beautiful and charming two bedroom (tho one bedroom is quite small) apartment, nicely furnished and equipped, in the heart of the Palermo district in BA. There's a small grocery store two doors down, a nice cafe across the street. Dave and Miguel kept in touch through a group chat on Whatsapp and they were very responsive and helpful at every step. Highly recommended.

The historic building and apartment are wonderful- in character and location. We loved staying there and would happily do so again. Both the owner and Miguel the manager are very nice. We were greeted with fresh fruit and water bottles. The actual flat is nicer than the photos show- high ceilings, much historical architectural interest. The owner has updated the primary bedroom with a new white duvet and matching white sheets. Please note the second bedroom and extra half bath are in an open loft above the kitchen which is accessible from some stairs which have no railing on the open side. Perfectly nice once you are up there but probably not for young children who might forget to tread them carefully. There is a wonderful produce grocery just next door and plenty of small other grocery stores around the neighborhood. The other residents of the building are very nice. Highly recommend!

Parisian style in BA in central location

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks, and had an impeccable stay. It is on the 4th floor or a nice building with elevator. The apartment is very central, walking distance to almost everything, and in a very good neighborhood. It is close to Ave Santa Fe, so it is not quiet, if this is what you are looking for. The owner as well as local agent are great to work with and very responsive. The apartment is very well equipped with all you need, stable internet that allows working from there also (whereas the apt. is not set up with a desk or table to work from). Bedroom is to the courtyard and there was no noise. Owner left book with great recommendations for BA. If you want to visit BA for vacation, this is a great place to stay.
