'We absolute loved our stay at Castle House. It is a beautiful house and the decor and facilities were high end. The house was spotless when we arrived and the towels, cleaning and kitchen products and toiletries were such a lovely added touch. The tvs are amazing and every channel you could possibly want. The bathroom was lovely and clean and the heated towel rail was fantastic and very easy to use. The shower was lovely and spacious.

'We loved our stay at the George. Jos and Lindsay are lovely and run a very nice business. We had two rooms, wife and I and Daughter and Partner. We arrived soaking wet after a walk on Mam Tor. Checked in, had a laugh with the owners, parking was easy, rooms are excellent and clean, food good, beers good. 'Absolutely perfect stay in the Cowshed. Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including kitchen utensils and some disposables which aren't always provided so that was a bonus. Lovely welcome basket of local produce provided on arrival. Property owner was easily reachable and quick to respond when needed.'

'Good comfortable room, lots of tea, coffe, nice bar and lovely grounds. Probably would gave rated higher but noisy event on and was awakened by noisy people in the early hours (not hotels fault). Disadvantage is the place is like a rabbit warren and you'll need your hiking boots as rooms are far from reception.'

"the Cottage is well equipped. Everything is there to make a stay enjoyable. Nice bathroom, nice shower and enough towelswhaley Bridge is a great base to explore the Peak District. There are a few nice pubs and a few good restaurants and lots of good takeaway. Also a very good sandwich shop and a wine shop. There is a large Tesco nearby for groceries.We will definitely be back."
