Great place to stay on Lake Palestine
The house was very nice, very clean, well kept and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property manager responded immediately to any questions we had. The kids loved the dock and big back yard leading down to the lake. Highly recommend booking this house for a stay on Lake Palestine or visiting Tyler!

Bass Tournament Pre-Fishing Trip
My son and his fishing partner were pre-fishing for their final high school bass tournament of the year on Lake Palestine. The house was perfect for our needs. 5 minutes from the boat ramp, house was clean, had all the creature comforts were readily available and the driveway was perfect to park a 21’ boat under a covered car port. Electrical outlets on back porch made charging boat batteries easy. Great trip … When we come back to Lake Palestine, we’re staying at this house!

Perfect!
We split a bigger group of people between our house and this place and it was perfect. The house was clean, the space was appropriate and we had a great time. The kitchen is well outfitted! One comment as an FYI, the 3rd bed (futon) is inside another bedroom. So if you have groups that need private “bed space”, this 3rd bed location will be a problem.

A very relaxing stay!
Veronica is an excellent host! This is the 2nd house of hers we've stayed in, both in the same neighborhood. This house is more modest and more economical but with just the 2 of us plus our pooches, it was very comfortable. And loved the porches in the back. Unfortunate that the fish just weren't biting whereas last summer they were, seems our fishing locations both GA and TX having a rough summer.

Lovely rustic getaway for the family!
It was the perfect spot for a small family celebration of my mom’s 75th birthday. So now my husband wants to come back here with friends :). I’ll get my one thing of note out of the way - there are stairs to get in and down to lake - so if you are disabled you might want to bring a ramp for the front porch (2 or 3 steps only), or look for something ground level. But it is a pier and beam home, so totally to be expected. My rental is the same. The house, though. Really needs a real estate photographer out there, stay! The pictures are not doing it justice, whatsoever. This place is like a beautiful little cabin in Maine, and the bathrooms are clean and so much nicer that you think. It has the coziest living space that’s plenty big enough for a couch snorer ;). The screened in porch us ADORABLE. The dock boat house is awesome and set up well for fishermen but we had s great time as swimmers and launched our canoe with a trolling motor there. If it wasn’t a thousand degrees outside the fire pit on the lawn by the lake would have been the place to be at night. The kitchen had everything possible and a great toaster oven that was huge and where we pretty much made everything. My mom and sister can sometimes be diva and neither had a single complaint! Amazing! Thanks, Veronica! We will be back, Post better pics and more people will enjoy this amazing spot! :)

Quite Lake House

Great Girls Weekend Away
Booked a girls Memorial Day Weekend away ! Communication with Veronica was simple and quick. The 2b/2b was just perfect, great open floor concept with very lake house decor. Screened in back porch was excellent with adjacent decks. Easy short distance to boat dock and neighbors were super friendly and very courteous. We will def be coming back ! (just a few notes I would like to make, these things did not at all hinder our weekend, safety or thoughts of the listing, just some things maybe to consider to the owner, small patches of poison ivy around back deck, section of screen needs to be repaired on porch, extend ladder down dock for easier access in & out of the lake) Otherwise IT WAS PERFECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our stay!!!
Everything was fine for the most part. The WFI was very weak which not that big of a deal but my main complaint was the the boat lift was very hard on my 20 ft bass boat and for that reason I would not book again. My main reason for coming the the lake was fishing and the convinces of the lift. No major damage just chafing of the gelcoat and bumpers. It was still a very nice lake home and property

Relaxing Escape
This home is so cozy and perfect! I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway for his birthday. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake from the screened-in porch and the dock. I was so relaxed, I even fell asleep on the bench out on the porch! We loved our time so much, we extended our stay three more nights! Looking forward to having some time to book again soon!

Overall loved it. Wish the weather had been better.
No towels in master bathroom. No sheets for futon. I know there was only 3 people, but that does not mean they always want to sleep together. Otherwise it was great.

We enjoyed staying in this lake front home on Lake Palestine. Nice house and well equipped. Very peaceful neighborhood. The host was easy to get a hold of for any questions. The boat house was great for fishing and relaxing. We will stay there again soon.

Great location - lovely home
The house is a great little 2 bedroom home with plenty of inside and outside space to relax. Loved the access to the boat dock which made for a great way to see all of Lake Palestine. It's in a very quiet and calm inlet, which at night just sitting out back listening to the sounds of nature. The home is well stocked with everything you need, and seems to have been recently updated as everything is in really great shape. Owner is super nice and easy to reach with questions..

Fun Lake Trip
Adorable lakehome with great water and safe no-wake zone for our floating lake mat. Kids absolutely loved it! Needs for the house are more garbage bags, mow the yard, add a couple of rungs to the lake ladder (and remove old nails), add a wine opener in the kitchen, remove old trash from previous renters (old chicken trays on the lake dock), and let us know ahead of time how to access the house. Anyway, we did enjoy the home and the lake spot. Just wanted to add some constructive comments! Thanks so much!

Decent size home, large yard, very comfortable, full size washer/dryer, dishwasher and 2 full size restrooms was nice. Especially liked that we were able to keep the boat in the boat slip on the property. Time on the lake was amazing and the fishing was great too! Host is very nice and quick to respond, look forward to returning.

Wonderful spot on a quiet narrow part of the lake. Neighborhood is quite and felt very safe. The back porch is large with a screened in section for mosquito season. Fishing isnt that good off the boat dock, maybe it was the time of year. But I expected that. Will likely visit again as it is easy to get to town and you pop out at the grocery store.

My husband and I fished a tournament on Palestine and the house was perfect for what we needed. The carport worked out nicely for the boat with all the rain we had. The house was very cute and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!
