Nostalgisch retro pastorie 1940 huis Ranch House

Stijlvol ingerichte en perfect onderhouden boerderij uit de jaren 40 met alles wat u nodig hebt om u thuis te voelen. Drie slaapkamers, 4 luxe bedden, (koning koningin en 2 tweelingen) 1. 5 badkamers, goed ingerichte keuken met moderne apparatuur en retro decor. Je zult het gevoel hebben dat je het huis van je heel coole grootouders bezoekt. Veel om naar te kijken en over te praten terwijl je het decor van de jaren 50, 60 en 70 ontdekt.
Burlington is een charmante stad in de buitenwijken, omringd door recreatie- en landbouwgronden. Charmante winkels in de binnenstad liggen op een steenworp afstand. Antiquing en thrifting evenals gastronomische boodschappen liggen allemaal binnen de stadsgrenzen. Loop naar het centrum, restaurants, winkels en bars, 50 stappen naar de rivierwandeling, tuin en overdekte patio's om buiten te genieten.
Tal van outdoor recreatieve activiteiten het hele jaar door. We zijn dicht bij de staat paden, 3 ski-heuvels, twee rivieren en tientallen meren. Lake Geneva ligt op 10 minuten afstand, Milwaukee ligt op 45 minuten en Chicago 90 minuten met 2 opties voor treinvervoer om verkeer te vermijden. Perfect voor een uitje met vriendinnen, familie of koppels.
Zakenreizigers zullen genieten van onze locatie en snel internet, we zijn 20 minuten landelijk woon-werkverkeer van Foxconn campus.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Retro Rectory! The entire house was spotless, fully functional, and thoughtfully decorated. The young adults in our group were thoroughly entertained by the vinyls in the music room. Donna was super accommodating and let us know the day of that the house was ready for us and we were free to come early. Great neighborhood with walking path along the river, shops, and park nearby. Would stay again without a doubt!

What a delightful, clean, and comfortable home!....and talk about 1950's motif, right out of central casting, and very tastefully done at that.....and with all the modern features you need as well.Home is cozy and comforting but with plenty of elbow room.....and everything works to a T.The location is ideal.We communicated with our host Donna to introduce ourselves and go over general topics and she was very responsive, helpful, and welcoming.There were even Christmas decorations out, a very thoughtful bonus on Donna's part.We will return for certain.....

The house was very cute and cozy, and Donna left us clear instructions for everything and how to care for the house! We were in town for a wedding at Veterans Terrace, and this house was the perfect spot for our group. There was some construction going on with the driveway and the street that didn't allow us to park in the driveway, but Donna went out of her way to call us ahead of time and let us know, and helped us make a plan for parking, as we had 6 cars coming. There was a small city parking lot just down the street, so we were able to park there and walk to the house. And the walk through the park to the venue was so pretty! We made sure to sign the guest book, and add a trinket to the little shelf on the wall before we left :)

Blast in the Past!

The property literally was a blast to the past! From the black and white checkered floor, to the Ronald McDonald cups in the kitchen! This quaint home located in Burlington, Wisc was easy to find and had all the comforts of home! Check in was a breeze and Donna was a gracious host, always available to answer questions!!

Hotel alternative for funeral

The house was clean and comfortable. This was a first time doing this for me. I have some walking insecurity so an outside hand rail at the steps would have been helpful. The beds and bath facilities were fine for our needs. Others had left condiments in the fridge which was great and we liked the thoughtful extra packaged goods in the cupboards also, even if we didn't use them.

Perfect Little House

This charming house was very clean and all of our accommodations were wonderful. We attended a wedding at Mercantile Hall just a few blocks away, so the location was perfect. It was walking distance to everything downtown: breakfast, dinner, bars, wedding hall, coffee shops. Our group of 4 was very comfortable but there was plenty of room for a couple more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house!

Retro Magic!

Donna is a wonderful host and the house was fantastic! Perfect location and just right for our group of 5…we were close to Lake Geneva for walking the shore line and other activities and we were able to go on a great bike ride right from the house. Next time we will definitely bring our kayaks and check out the Fox River. Thanks for your hospitality!

Perfect Place
