'The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn was perfect. Very friendly staff. Had two meals here. Had lovely food and plenty of it. The breakfasts were also good. Had English and then had a lighter breakfast the next day, yoghurt and fruit with toast to follow. The room was also lovely, our own little cottage style room. Plenty of space and comfortable and clean. The lounge area was cosy as well with a log fire. I could have stayed here a week.'

'The hotel was lovely decor but found that the bed was just made everyday and notice that the bathroom wasn’t clean each day we stayed . The food was ok but wasn’t enough Choice . Breakfast was poor in tact the portions were small . Staff were lovely and very helpful although their uniforms were a bit scruffy looking .'

'The location was beautiful, overlooking the golf course… I would specifically ask for a king room overlooking the course. The staff at the hotel was very helpful… Lily, Lorraine, Luisa… And Grace in the dining room room. We had such a lovely time there. Ate in the dining dining room room, both breakfast and dinner each night. A quiet, peaceful, relaxing, couple of days… Highly recommend this location'
