'We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode!
The room was extremely comfortable and clean.
We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly.
The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset.
Im an early riser, and i spend some time identifying the birds in the location.
Even a chicken popped in to say hello!

Charlotte was incredibly informative and passionate in answering our local questions of which her knowledge was invaluable to us.
Lovely room we had, being hyper critical it is an old building so the bathroom layout meant you couldn't really have a shower, so bathing it was instead.
Had a wonderful stay, highly recommended.

'Arrived and were able to check in an hour earlier, we were shown to our room, and windows had been opened to allow the heat to escape. Amazing views. Room very clean and everything you need, water great selection of teas and coffees, and more importantly a fan.
Great quirky pub to enjoy a drink and meal. Very friendly staff and other guests and locals very friendly. Great puppy cuddles with Angus a huge bonus. Would definitely stay again.'
