An *almost* perfect stay!

Everything was great besides the plumbing. The water in 1/3 showers does not have warm or hot water which made it unusable. The kitchen water also does not get warm/hot either so washing dishes made it unsanitary due to only being able to use cold water and also unbearable due to your hands going numb after 5 mins.Other than that though- home, location and sights were beautiful.

Pros- The home sits itself on a beautiful property from the fire pit to the Jacuzzi to the beautiful waterfall bathrooms. the comfortable bed and the climate control rooms kept the comfort level to your desire.Cons- it would have been nice to have a dishwasher. A new pellet grill and icemaker were amenities that could have easily been bought to make your guests stay that much more comfortable. Overall- great spot to relax

Girls weekend away

The property is stunning as well as the cabin. Beautiful layout and decor. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive. Our favorite part was probably the hot tub and back porch. When raining though the kitchen was super fun to get around the high top and play games. Highly recommend!

Home away from home

This property was perfect for our annual tubing trip in Mansfield. It gave us the quiet in between the fun. The hot tub was amazing, cabin was cozy and provided a perfect amount of space for the 8 of us. I only wish we would have been able to stay longer.

Spacious cabin

The cabin is located in the perfect location to enjoy Mohican state park. It looked exactly like the pictures in person. We saw deer each morning and the owners reached out to us before our stay and gave us some ideas of things to do. They were very friendly.

Girls trip 24

This was truly the perfect place for our girls trip. There was plenty of space for 6 adults, without feeling crowded. The amenities were well thought out, from the extra towel for the hot tub and oversized towels to the kitchen amenities, games and activities. The hot tub was clean and clear, and plenty of fire wood for a fire. Check in and out was sple. 10/10 recommend.

Friends Vacation

The cabin was great everyone commented that they really liked it. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive to get up the incline of the stone drive up to the cabin. Which both vehicle had and was able to get to the cabin with no problem. We were there to go on a river trip but was hoping for a little more to do in the area other than Mohican Adventures and hiking. All in all everyone had a great time and would definitely recommend the cabin to others.

Great location for a family getaway!

Three generations of my family stayed at the cabin for a getaway over the 4th of July. Everyone had their own private space in the cabin and we were all able to come together in the main living areas of the cabin. There was something for everyone at the cabin - hot tub, fire pit, games, etc. The location is also close to Mohican State Park with its great hiking trails. We had an enjoyable visit to the Ugly Bunny winery and had a great dinner at the Castle. A great time was had by all!

The property was very private and had a grand cabin feel. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi at night gazing at all the stars. Everything needed to cook with and lots of games to play. Luke was very helpful with the wifi and anything else we may need. It was nice for some disconnect from TV, and even though we did connect a game, it was fun for all of us. Very close to Kayaking the river or enjoying Mohican Park.

December 2023 Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this Butler cabin. The check-in process was extremely easy and the property management team/owner provided all of the information ahead of time to make check-in extremely efficient. The property was very clean upon our arrival and is a beautiful location to enjoy some amazing family time in a very rural setting. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a relaxing vacation in a remote setting. Thank you for making our experience truly amazing!

Very nice

Very clean and cute place. Only thing o would change is having the TV in a common area and having a washer and dryer. With it being cold our bathing suites did not dry and we had to put them on wet the next day. Other than that it was a very nice place.

Beautiful home

My family and I shared this house with another family for a weekend getaway. The house was amazing! It was very clean, the kitchen was stocked nicely and the views of the woods and nature was so pretty! The hot tub was very relaxing as well. The only thing I would recommend would be another TV in the upstairs of the house since the only TV there is in the kids room downstairs. Also, having the ability to use a washer and dryer on site would be a big bonus! If you plan on wanting clean clothes, you’ll need to drive into town and use the laundromat. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again!
