'The desk clerk was rude. She answered my question before I could ask it. We were not given the room we booked through Expedia and were told that it was not advisable to book with third-party vendors. So, I said, “Okay, we also booked a room directly with Element, and we still didn’t get the room we booked.” The clerk responded that we were only staying for one night. It didn’t matter; we had paid for a room and should have received it. If not, she should had offered a discount rate.'

I think they should have gave us a partial refund. We came for the pool and they didn’t have one or offer any type of discount or refund. Sad because I went 5 years ago and it was much better.'

'Horrible, and I would not have made it a big deal had they given my money back but I got there saw the place looked nothing like the pictures and wanted my money back instantly. Literally 5 mins after it was booked. They refused to give me any kind of refund. I was on the phone an hour had to call 2x the whole time my kids are in the car bc they refused to give me my money. I’m still trying to get my money back for a room I never stayed at. DO NOT BOOK!!! They steal peoples money refuse refunds....

'Refrigerator not working. In-room safe not working. I wanted to stay in the city center, thinking I could easily walk to some nice restaurants. The area is dying, with many stores and restaurants closed. I ended up ordering a salad at the hotel and ate in my room. I'd stay on the outskirts if I ever pass that way again. '

'They have very clean rooms, lovely staff, hot tub that was nice and warm, and there are plenty of shops near by for shopping and food.'

'Hot and cold breakfast GM was great and staff very friendly and helpful You can fly and park at hotel for 1/2 the price airport charges, and have a shuttle The suites are definitely a plus I felt pricing was good'

'Figure out which side the train tracks are on and book your room on the other side or you’ll be woke up every hour. Make sure the shower door in your room slides shut & will stay closed before you decide to shower or your bathroom will flood which you’ll see on your ceiling from the floor above you by shotty patchwork. Pro:close to river center establishments.'

'Property was very clean inside and outside. Rooms looked like they were recently remodeled. The bed was comfy and breakfast was good. We went to a concert at Vibrant Arena and it was very convenient to get to the venue and back. I would stay there again.'

'It is always a pleasure to stay at this Residence Inn. From the greeting you get upon arrival to your checkout. The people are so kind and helpful. The room is always clean. A great place to stay.'

'We wouldn’t even take a shower there due to how nasty the bathroom tub was. Which for me was hard for a Two night stay. We checked the beds as we always do and no bugs was there or no bed bug spots or no roaches came which was a plus but they need to use bleach or something to get those bathrooms cleaned better. Staff was really nice, restaurant next door is a hard no but it was the only thing around. Hotel just needs to be updated and deeply cleaned '
