Oasis in the woods
The view was the best lake view we’ve ever seen. All the comforts of home. Visiting nearby towns made for an extra pleasurable stay. Loved it!

Cabin in the woods…
The cabin was very humid, even with the AC on. The bed sheets did not fit the bed (too small). The cabin smelled from the humidity. The fireplace wouldn’t turn on. Couldn’t contact the property manager. The view was beautiful and after we took the spiders off the swings it was great! Bottom line, you get what you pay for, and pictures are deceiving.

The sunsets were priceless. The near by marina made our boat rental easy and inexpensive. The cabin was rustic yet clean. Next time I'll bring a cushion for the porch seating. There will be a next time!

Adorable Cabin! Would stay again!
Loved this cabin! Such a cute Cabin! Owner was polite and very responsive. The cabin was clean and you seriously CAN’T beat the view. The cabin is so close to the marina, which made it very convenient. The only complaint we had was that the fold out couch isn’t very comfortable! If we stay again we will just bring an air mattress. 9/10 recommend!

Good views, but lots of rat poop & we seen roaches in the kitchen
The views are pretty but there was mice poop in the sheets in the yellow room that we found as we were getting ready for bed. We heard mice throughout the night. We really wanted to love this property. We seen 2 water bugs in the kitchen floor that were possibly crock roaches. There seems to be a floor rot around the dishwasher and the floor is lifting up. It’s a bit of a trip hazard. The gas grill burner eye is really rusted and only one works and doesn’t put out a good flame to cook on. We tried it but ended up frying our hamburgers in frying pan. The fireplace doesn’t work. The walk down to the cabin at night is treacherous without any lights. The cabin can be really nice with some tlc and love. I didn’t want to leave a bad review but just want everyone to be aware of the issues. Hopefully the property owner gets these things fixed. I’m thinking she has a housekeeper that may not be informing her of the issues. I let her know of the issues but she didn’t apologize or offer any time of reimbursement for any of the problems the cabin had.

Spectacular location, property needs work.
Beautiful location. Kitchen and bathroom very clean. This property has the potential for greatness, however maintenance has been long deferred. It was fine for the two of us for a weekend of hanging out. TV has no local stations and we couldn't find the football games we wanted to watch, but there was plenty of other choices. Two more serious concerns. The mattress on the bed in the rear bedroom needs to be replaced. Very old with a big dip in the middle. And the sliding doors onto the porch do not lock. The closing mechanism is broken. All in all a wonderful location with a home that needs work. I would not stay again until some upgrades are made.

Relaxing
The view says it all. This is a relaxed cabin with a wonderful view right from the front porch. Just bring your sweatshirt, a good book and a bottle of wine the swing is waiting. My husband liked the wi-fi and the gas fireplace. The property owner was extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions as we were new to the area. Recommend that you arrive before dark as the roads are curvy.

The view is spectacular! Location is very peaceful. Could be a nice little cabin if a lot of maintenance and cleaning is done. Photos should be current, not from years past that when you pull up your month drops In utter dismay!

Returning Lake Lovers
This is our 4th time staying at Mellissa's property. The view is spectacular. The cabin is starting to show a little wear and could use some TLC. Very clean and well appointed. We will return.

Beautiful View, Clean and Comfy but The Porch is a Big No
Great cabin for the most part. It was clean and comfy and the view is stunning. The porch though - it is a liability and it is ready to throw you off the edge to the ground below as you exit the sliding glass door. If they fix it I'll be back. If not - nope.

Home away from home
Very comfortable and cozy small cabin with an amazing view. Really close to one of the local marina's which made it perfect for renting a pontoon. Would love to come back some day. It's a very quiet and private cabin off the beating path. The host was really responsive when we had a question. Thank you too the host for allowing us to stay.

cozy quiet and needs some attention
needs some badly needed attention to maintenance and upkeep of property. sliding glass doors disabled from opening by a screw drilled into the lock. deck was sagging and not very safe to walk on barefooted, screws sticking out of wood. areas around the house has the possibility of looking a lot more attractive with just a little bit of attention. this is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay, just not kept up at all. I realize the owners have only had it for 5 years, but I think with another 5 of neglect there will not be much of a cabin to advertise....or update photos.

View was absolutely stunning!
The cabin was very cute and quiet. We were a little concerned with the condition of the balcony because it is sagging. We didn't not go out because it didn't look safe. Bedrooms and Bath were updated and very nice the kitchen and living room however are in dire need of maintenance. The ceilings are cracking and sagging. The host was great and I think with some updates, that it could be rented out for a higher price. Overall, our visit was very pleasant.

Million Dollar View
Beautiful view. Everything we needed was provided in kitchen. We bought birdseed and fed the birds and squirrels. My husband and I just relaxed and watched movies and enjoyed the scenery. The Sunset marina is a nice place to visit to buy Tshirts and coffee cups. You can also feed the ducks,turtles and fish. It was so enjoyable for us. We can’t wait to stay at your cabin again!!! Closet doors need fixed,screens on door and windows need replaced. But overall it’s just minor details that didn’t affect our stay.

Parking was terrible if you have a boat with you. Carpenter bees were really bad on deck. Deck felt like it was about to fall in. Interior of cabin was fine had everything you would need just like home. Owner was really nice.
