Nice cottage with pool and sea view near Byxelkrok | SE04051

The cabin is located 6 km south of Byxelkrok, along one of Öland's most beautiful stretches of coast, in an area called Hagskogen and a stone's throw from the sea.There are three bedrooms, two of which have double beds and the third a single bed. Next to the entrance you will find a renovated nice bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and has a beautiful sea view. In the living room, you can sit and cozy up on the sofa in front of the fire if it's a little cooler one evening. From the living room you come out onto a partially covered terrace, where you can sit and relax after the day's adventure or have a good dinner. Adjacent is the large patio deck with a lovely pool, where you can take a cooling dip on hot days. As the house has a western location, you can experience fantastic beautiful sunsets, when the weather is good.To see and do in Byxelkrok and the surrounding areaThe cabin is located on the northern part of Öland in a beautiful nature reserve, where you can take walks among rocks and beautiful meadows. Visit the smokehouses in nearby Byerum or the magical Trollskogen. Beautiful orchids grow in the Neptuni meadows and please pay a visit to the Långe Erik lighthouse.Take the children east to Böda's lovely long sandy beaches and its water park or go to boxcar land, playland at Mellböda gård with wonderful coffee or the Glass Farm in Källa if you want an excursion.In Byxelkrok there is a popular marina with several small shops in boathouses selling handicrafts, flea markets, and cozy restaurants. A visit to Ölandsfiskarn is a must, where you can sit and eat fish and shellfish in abundance with an incredibly beautiful sea view or buy their infamous and incredible shrimp sandwiches. In the summer, they arrange troubadour evenings with shrimp fritters, which are very popular. From the harbor you can also take a boat trip out to the island of Blue Virgin.
