The Space:

Casa Kai gives families room to spread out and actually relax. The open kitchen flows into a living room where everyone can hang out together, not squeezed onto one couch. Sliding doors open to your private outdoor space: pool with a gentle waterfall (the kids will live in it), 8-person dining table for family meals outside, and loungers for parents who just want to sit with a book.

Large shallow lounge area perfect for younger kids to play safely. Waterfall feature adds ambiance without being loud. We've had families spend entire afternoons here while parents take turns relaxing poolside.

- Primary suite: King bed, en-suite bathroom with soaking tub (parents, this one's yours)

- Family room: King bed plus two twins—perfect for parents with kids or two couples sharing

All beds have quality linens that actually feel good. Each room has AC you control yourself and enough closet space to unpack properly.

Walk to Playa Grande beach in 5 minutes (or drive in 2 if you're loaded down with beach gear). The Children's Park is directly across the street: helpful for burning off energy before dinner. Beach is never crowded, great for families learning to surf or just playing in the waves.

Getting Around:

The nearest airport is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), 37 miles away (approx. 1 hour 20 min by car). Driving time may vary with traffic. The villa has one parking space onsite. Taxis and shuttle services are available, but public transport is limited.



Other Things to Note:

As part of our standard booking process, guests are asked to choose between a $50 non-refundable damage waiver or a refundable $1,000 security deposit hold, released 5 days after check-out, provided there is no damage.
