We had a three day reservation and checked out after the first night!!!! i have traveled extensively and been in hotels, inns, B & B's and hostels all over not just Asia, but all over the world. This was one of the worst, if not the worst, property I have ever stayed in!!!! I stayed here years ago and while the facility needed an upgrade then, the staff was so accommodating that it was still a reasonable choice. That is far from true now! The peeling paint/plaster on the walls, A/C unit that sounds like Chicago in the dead of winter and filthy rooms are worsened by an "I don't care" attitude. We checked out early and the desk clerk didn't even ask why!!! Other couples did the same and yet no one, that I know of, was asked. The owner needs to decide if they want a successful business to be proud of, or a flop house! It's just a nightmare, now.

Always a pleasure to return once again to this property. The staff and it's location are excellent: housekeeping was prompt to fulfill requests, and the guard in the garage made sure we had parking despite the fact the hotel was full. Comments I made on previous stays regarding condition of towels and temperature of water seemed to hzve been heeded as both were now fine. The shower stall in our bathroom did not drain easily and we reported this to the front desk. We look forward to our be next stay here.

Great Staff, Great Location but needs a refresh!
Excellent hotel staff all-throughout. Rooms are right-sized for the price and location is hard to beat. Rooms need a re-fresh however, and sheets/beddings and towels badly need replacement. Mold and seeping moist-in-walls and its associated smells will also have to be treated.

The most convenient location in downtown CDO for shopping and dining. And if you're a foreigner and need to visit the Bureau of Immigration you are a few steps away. Staff are always super pleasant and friendly, so it's always a pleasure to go back. There are a couple of areas you need to know about this most recent visit, however. The water was never more than lukewarm ( refreshing for me!) And the a/c was noisy (used ear plugs at night). All in all for the good value and location it's hard to beat. Will go back again

This is an additional review to multiple stays over recent years. This property is ideal for those going to CDO for shopping and other business in the city center. The biggest asset is the excellent staff, who always provide friendly and attentive service. Sadly, the same issues continue in the area of the property's condition: towels are still gray, possibly due to improper laundering and eventual buildup of dirt. Air-conditioning units are noisy, and wall controls do not operate efficiently. Additionally, during this stay, no hot water was available, due to a boiler requiring repair. And in our room, the safe was unusable, We strongly recommend management make regular room inspections a priority and, if they have not already done so, make representations to the owners to improve the property's physical condition. With its great location and excellent staff, this hotel deserves to be successful. We continue to support Red Planet CDO through booking there, however the above issues may give some guests cause for not staying there again. Wishing you well in your endeavors.

My red plant experience
I do not complain much so this is just to help in future yes my stay was good. I stayed red planet Manila I think maybe it is new building so cleaner in bathroom. I noticed maybe due to age but a lot of mold and mildew on bathroom. Maybe most people did not realize there is a exhaust fan to help. And internet always dropping off even I am in the room some what annoying to me this is just my opinion. The price is good booking online and I need to be on a budget. This does not mean I will not stay at a red planet because I do like the price and is nice hotel and at a good budget. As I travel back to my place in US I will be staying back in Manila on my way back. This is not to be negative comment I hope just something to help your company grow in the future. When I travel back to Philippines I will stay at red planet because it does fit my budget and I always feel safe doing so.

A fan and repeat customer: always enjoy the friendly and attentive staff. Security officer helpful in providing parking space. Over time, housekeeping checks and general maintenance have deteriorated. Our bathroom: leaking faucet, sink not draining properly, no soap in dispensers, shower caddy removed. Towels grey in color through improper washing. Hope management can resolve and institute appropriate abd regular checks to assure customer satisfaction. This property remains a place to stay due to its location.

Convenient location
This is a no-frills accommodation next to a shopping mall. Very handy to restaurants and transport. The room provides bare essentials but clean. I arrived just before 5am and couldn't be checked in until 2pm. Waiting in the lobby was extremely uncomfortable in the 30-degree-Centigrade heat as there was only a single electric fan for the whole area. I had to go to the nearby Jollibee diner for an unplanned early breakfast to pass away time until the mall opened at 10am. I didn't enjoy waiting in the hot uncomfortable lobby for hours before getting checked-in but the location is best for dining and shopping. If only the lobby is made more pleasant by cooling it sufficiently, it would have been a better experience for me. I stayed for two nights and used it base to visit nearby places of interests. I have stayed both in Seda Centrio and the Luxe Hotel in my previous visits and this is my first in Red Planet. For comfort and customer service, Red Planet lags way behind. You get what you pay for. Luxe was fully booked so I have chosen Red Planet only for its location. For a good and enjoyable experience, stay with the best - either Luxe and Ceda Sentrio.

The hotel staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel is close to commercials areas like dinning, shopping and transportations. The hotel needs major updating.

I like the location, walking distance to 3 malls. The hotel room looked rather old. Price was very reasonable and overall it was a vey good value.

The room was extremely small, no desk or chairs, No place for your luggage or even a rack to set it on. You get what you pay for I guess. The restaurant downstairs was nice but the service very slow, you could tell the workers there wanted to be somewhere else. Having the SM mall right next door made the stay ok. If our looking to save money this is the place, they do provide free wifi in your room. If you want a nice view and big room look elsewhere

First the good stuff: nice to come back again to this property so conveniently close to all shopping malls. (Regular customer before COVID!). We also could park in the hotel garage: a huge plus! Check-in was a little challenging: only one elevator working and seemed preprogrammed to go up and down floors 4 times before we were able to reach reception ground level. Reception clerk informed us that credit card machines weren't working but since I had prepaid (I had to point this out) it wasn't an issue but certainly would be for other guests. The main point: the property is in need of renovations/repairs. Shower head and lights not working properly, air conditioner noisier than before, towels now dark grey. But on leaving we were greeted by name by another clerk who remembered us as regular guests. Much appreciated! Will still continue to book this property (for above reasons) but urge owners to ensure proper maintenance and initiate budget for rehab.
