Beautiful house and great location
The views are absolutely stunning from Fuchsia House, whatever the weather! The place is perfect for all ages. We were a family with two young kids, grandma and our cousins from the USA. The house is well equipped, including a bbq. On arrival, there was a welcoming basket of bread, coffee and wine, which we appreciated! The house is just a 5 minute drive from Waterville, which has some good restaurants (We recommend Dooley’s). There’s a nice beach about a 10 minute walk from the house, where we spent an afternoon walking on the rocks and exploring. We visited Valentia Island (lighthouse is great), Skellig Islands (half of us got really sea sick, so prepare for choppy water), Kenmare and Glengarriff (beautiful drive), and Killarney. Our favourite pub was the Blind Piper in Caherdaniel! All in all, a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful part of Ireland.

Views are stunning
The property is outstanding and we could have sat on the couches and stared out the window, all week. You can see cliffs, a beach and a beautiful view to hills on the other side of the bay. We had a couple of days of poor weather and simply stayed in and enjoyed the property. We had a few mechanical issues but most of them were our own ignorance of how the appliances worked. Caragh helped through any issues and we had a terrific stay. We would of course reccomend this property to all lovers of this beautiful area of Ireland.

Theirs a reason they call Kerry the Kingdom!
Kerry is the closest you will come to heaven, and this absolutely beautiful home is a perfect example of a little slice of heaven. My family which included my Dad, my two sisters with their partners and my girlfriend and I and her 8 year old daughter just spent a week here. We chose this location as my Mam’s ashes are scattered just up the road in Derrynane and it was conveniently located to visit the towns that my Mam and Dad frequented when visiting their favourite place in Ireland. The house has everything you could possibly want. Proximity to the town is brilliant just a nice walk, the beach a short stroll and the views oh my God, I can never get sick of them no matter what the weather is. Caragh the owner was extremely pleasant and helpful and the house is kitted out with everything you could possibly need. I will return to this house again as it exceeded our dreams of what we might even be walking into. I cannot praise this house and location enough and words don’t justify how beautiful it truly is. I would strongly recommend anyone looking to travel to Kerry to stay here “Just not when I want to please!”

Exceptional Ireland Views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Fuchsia Lodge. The house is beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything we needed and we couldn't get enough of the spectacular views from all sides of the house! Caragh was an excellent communicator for our sightseeing questions and the welcome basket was lovely to arrive to after our long travel from the US. The location was perfect, right along the Ring of Kerry and we took full advance of driving each day to explore all the wonderful sights and towns along the The Kerry Way! Highly recommend this 5 star!

Fabulous Fuchsia Lodge!
Beautiful house with amazing views and all the comforts of home. Conveniently located to several day trip destinations such as Kilarney National Park and Portmagee. Excellent communication with the hosts. Would love to stay there again.

At the Beach
We enjoyed our stay at the Fuschia Lodge. Although our weather was not great, we appreciated the space and views from the house. It was well stocked with everything we could need. The hot showers were a welcome reprieve after being out in the rain. The house was conveniently located to Waterville. My girls and I enjoyed a lovely hike along the Kerry Way steps from the house.

Great time
We had a really great time in this beautiful house in this beautiful location. There were hares and stonechats and field pipits in the garden, coastal walks, and we made the trek to Dingle for a rib ride to see dolphins, puffins, and minke whale. The house is perfect (and the internet works!), and Kerry is gorgeous.

Lovely situation, nicely designed spacious house had a super sauna!
We had a wonderful week in Fuschia Lodge. Communication with the owner, before and during our stay, was excellent. The house is beautifully appointed and we watched stunning sunsets. We swam everyday in the nearby beach which we had to ourselves even though the weather was fantastic ! The sauna was an added bonus and we hope to return someday.

Amazing property and location
We were two families staying in the Autumn half term. Kids from age 10 up. The views across the bay are incredible. The sunsets stunning. The cottage is designed with this in mind. Allowing you to have breathtaking views in the warmth of inside. I’d imagine in the summer it would be brilliant. BBQ’s all the time. The cottage it’s self is clean, well equipped, modern. Plenty of space all en-suite / private bathroom. The location is a good few miles from local amenities not that was a problem for us. If we were coming back to the area we’d rebook in a heartbeat. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Spectacular
The location is spectacular. It has a wonderful view of the bay and the ocean. Home is perfect for multiple guests because of the 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Lots to do nearby. It’s right down the road from hogshead golf course and a 10 minute drive to Waterville golf course. The owner was a pleasure to work with when I had a few questions.

wunderschöne Lage
Sehr schöne Lage,, und recht gut ausgerüstetes Haus. An- und Abreise mit organisatorischen Problemen. Baumateriale hinter dem Haus sollten weggeräumt werden, und schade, dass der Kamin einfach zugemauert war. Aber wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt in einer der schönsten Gegenden Irlands. .

Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung Ich bin enttäuscht von Ihrem Feedback. Eine jährliche Wartung ist erforderlich, um sicherzustellen, dass das Haus ordnungsgemäß gewartet wird. Die Platte wurde ausgetauscht und es sind keine Baumaterialien vor Ort. In Bezug auf offenes Feuer wird in meiner Auflistung kein offenes Feuer erwähnt. Bezüglich der Ankunftsinformationen antwortete ich sofort mit den korrekten Kontaktinformationen. Die Tatsache, dass die App alte Informationen enthielt, war ein Administratorfehler, der jedoch sofort behoben wurde. Es freut mich zu hören, dass Sie Ihren Urlaub in Irland genossen haben.

Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen.
Großzügige Räume mit tollem Blick auf den Nordatlantik. Dank Sauna ist die Ausstattung als überdurchschnittlich zu bewerten. Direkt vom Haus können Wanderungen und Spaziergänge unternommen werden. Die Strasse vor dem Haus ist kaum befahren.

Heavenly views and wonderful house
We loved our week at Fuschia Lodge. Thank you Caragh for the warm welcome on arrival. The basket of goodies was a nice touch too. The house is just lovely, beautifully appointed with plenty of space inside and out for everyone and very comfortable too (we were a family of 8 - ages 13 to 84). The views are just breathtaking and we enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets. We had a wonderful base for the week to explore this magical party of Kerry. Valentia Island and Derrynane Beach were highlights for us. From Fuschia Lodge we strolled along the coast most days and even swam from the slip way (1km to left of Fuschia Lodge) into the crystal clear water of Ballinskelligs Bay .. wetsuits optional! bring goggles and enjoy the rich kelp forest on the sea bed. It was a magical holiday. We will be back!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit fantastischen Blick den Atlantik! Wir waren begeistert: sehr gut ausgestattetes, modernes Ferienhaus mit der individueller Architektur! Fantastischer Blick über die Bucht und so auch genau das möglich, was wir uns von einem Irland Aufenthalt oft hatten: irisches Wetter sehen und genießen! Sehr nette Vermieter und sehr guter Service! Waterville ist nur wenige Kilometer entfernt und hat alles, was man im Urlaub braucht. Vielen Dank!
