'Great lodges, with great beds and clean. Loved the screen concept so you can hear nature (birds, howling monkeys) without the bugs (not really a lot around). The restaurant was also great with friendly staff, good breakfast and dinner the cook always had the meat and fish perfect! Would certainly come again!'

Waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys in the morning was a memorable experience. Just keep in mind that having a car is beneficial. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!'

'It’s a family run business and the owner was super nice and helpful , the property was peaceful , the only noise was the wild animals on the property like howler monkeys and lots of exotic bird species , the owner prepared a papaya from the tree right in front of our room , it was delicious. I would recommend this property for people that want a truly Costa Rican experience without all the crowds of the towns . Loved our stay at Casa Conley 10 out of 10 , can’t wait to visit again ✌'

'We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. We arrived late but had a nice dinner at Banana Azul and then were able to use the easy to follow directions to gain access to the property and our room. The room was spotless and welcoming. We weren't able to park our car in the lot as it was full but after contacting the host we were told it was fine to park on...
