El cuarto la puerta cerraba pero se movía y no había zafacón solo el del baño y era muy pequeño.'

'Property was clean and well maintained on the inside. Exterior windows need cleaning and a little love. There is a classic colonial style area which was pointed out by hotel staff which is absolutely beautiful. It provides views of the town of Mayaguez from the top. It’s on the fifth floor of the property on the original building. Breakfast is till 9:30 a.m. (or sooner because it ran out before 9:00 a.m.). Make sure you wake up early to grab a bite. 'It was not the typical hotel/resort experience but the location, the coziness, the service and the atmosphere was amazing. Very clean room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. 'Figured we'd stay in Mayagüez for a night and then head over to some waterfalls in the general area. I don't usually gravitate towards hotel chains, but the island is still on the mend from the storm of '17 and earthquake of '20, and Holiday Inn is doing a pretty good job of presenting well maintained and comfortable properties around the island. Bed was comfortable, room and facilities were in good shape, and it was easy access to grab a bite to eat in town. I'd stay there again.'

'There not control at the pool at night, what look like people from outside were jumping the fence to use it, also around 3:00 am there were people at the pool drinking and talking loudly leaving trash and broken glass, also the music at the near bar was so loud that I could sleep. 'Great staff and location. The hotel needs some TLC particularly the gardens and pool area. The bathrooms were nicely decorated and very clean. There was a graduation celebration and woke up to trash and food around the pool area (tray of hamburger and hot dog sausage). The staff was very efficient in cleaning up the mess early morning around 5-6am (I’m an early riser;). A guest was very impolite mentioning in Spanish to a staff that “he hoped they put Clorox in the pool” as I was passing...
