'Beautiful historical place to stay. It was spacious and quiet right next to the university for visiting parents. Check in was easy and parking right up front. Lovely vintage decor. I do plan to return and stay when visiting my son at school. '

'The hotel was a nice stay. A great location because there is many food options around and if you are visiting someone at Texas state the drive there is only about 8-10 minutes. '

'This is our favorite place to stay since 4 years ago when my daughter started college, is close to Texas State University, the staff is nice and kind, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is the best part well I love it and the way that they make you feel doesn't have words. 'We stay here every time we go to San Marcos to see our daughter at school. Yesterday they treated us so nicely. It’s always clean and convenient. Not too expensive not too cheap. We love it.'

'Front desk was friendly & nice I have stayed at alot of Super 8 this one was tha worst compared to tha others Room did have a smell like it hadn't been cleaned musty. Carpet was dirty there was a couple of roaches There was no trash can there was only one in tha restroom Tha beds were comfortable that was tha only good thing about it. Toilet was loose Restroom door didn't close since it was to close to tha toilet. Outlets didn't work. Would i stay here again no i wouldn't '
