Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Nearby Arco da Calheta is known for its sunny and warm year-round climate. The nearest mini-market and café is only 1.3 kilometers away. The village center of Loreto is only 3 km away. Here you will find a couple of cafés with lovely esplanades, a bank, as well as the Loreto church. From Loreto you have great access to the mountains for both sightseeing (Madeira is breathtakingly beautiful) and walking (which has become extremely popular along the levadas or for hiking). The resort of Calheta is, with its man-made golden beach, branded supermarket and marina from where there is a selection of sea tours and activities, and a greater variety of eating places, is only 6 kms away.
Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in. The minimum stay is 07 nights.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time. Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations: Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.
When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol. The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol. At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km. At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km. Reaching the next roundabout, take the first exit following signs to Arco da Calheta and drive up 100metres until you reach another roundabout.
Take the 1st Exit (past the car dealership). Signposted Rabaçal/ Farmácia/Casas de Santo Antão/Pico da Urze and drive for approximately 1.4Km's.
Drive up the hill for about 1.4km until you reach a T-junction.
Turn left on T-junction and follow the road for another 1.7km and you will reach another T-Junction.
Take the road on the right and drive for another 700m and you will a left turn.
Do your left turn and drive up the hill for another 1,5km and will reach Casa das Florenças. Please note that Caminho das Florenças is a one way road only.
