Welkom in de pittoreske Sullivan Catskills-bergen. Slechts 2 uur van NYC. Er is nog nooit een betere tijd geweest om te bezoeken. Lonely Planet noemde dit gebied de op een na beste regio ter wereld om te bezoeken in 2019. Wintersport in overvloed en zo dicht bij tal van skigebieden, waaronder Holiday Mountain, Villa Roma, Elk Mountain en Wyndham. Bespaar geld - verblijf hier in onze informele, maar toch luxueuze gastenkamer met 2 verdiepingen en 2 verdiepingen. Verken en ontspan in eindeloze natuur, eet in fantastische restaurants, geniet van de kunst. Aan elk detail voor uw rust, comfort en geluk is aandacht besteed: van de 2 volledig ingerichte BR-suites en het kathedraalplafond LR - allemaal met antiek houtwerk en op maat gemaakte kasten en lijstwerk, dakramen, 2-persoons jacuzzi / douches in elk suite, geothermische warmte / warm water, vaatwasser, twee aparte ingangen, gedeelde gastpatiotuin, gratis parkeren, elektrische voertuigvoeding (110 V) en Tesla-oplader (extra $ 15). DE RUIMTE
Je wilt niet binnen blijven! Ervaar een wandeling op ons privé-natuurreservaat van 183 hectare genesteld aan de zijkant van een berg en verken drie stroompjes, gouden weiden en sereen privébos. Ga op forel vliegvissen in het nabijgelegen Roscoe, NY, de 'forelvisserijhoofdstad van de wereld'. Of wandel rond het nabijgelegen Crystal Lake, of in vele nabijgelegen bosgebieden en staatsbossen. Volg een rondleiding langs de boerderij en de kaasmakerij. Bezoek en woon concerten van wereldklasse bij in Bethel Woods Centre for the Performing Arts, op slechts een paar minuten afstand. Geniet van wintersport en recreatie in verschillende nabijgelegen resorts, langlaufen en rodelen, en gerechten van wereldklasse in verschillende nabijgelegen cafés en restaurants. Deze bekroonde boerderij is volledig gerenoveerd en hersteld in zijn oorspronkelijke landelijke gratie en wacht op uw komst. Family Visit Callicoon NY

My wife and I stayed at the cozy farm guest house 1&2 for two nights. The home is located in a private and quiet neighborhood. The property was clean and had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Communication with the host was extremely easy. They responded quickly to my messages. There is a bedroom and full bath upstairs and on the ground floor, which made it easy when getting ready in the morning. The living room and kitchen area was very comfortable. We will definitely try to stay here the next time we are visiting family in the area. Highly recommend.

We were in town to visit relatives just a few miles away. My group of 4 adults shared this space. The house was adequate for our needs. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. My only negative was that the living room space was small and we had to gather in a bedroom to watch TV. We will definitely return to this home.

Peaceful Cozy Cabin Stay

Despite the sub zero temperatures, my family of four thoroughly enjoyed this warm, cozy, eclectic cabin in a stunning location of Sullivan County. The owner is a communicative and accommodating host, even providing some snacks and beverages upon arrival. The description and pictures are accurate. The beds are comfortable, including the sofa bed and the floors are warm. The caretaker came twice to shovel and put down salt, which was greatly appreciated. The airplay surround sound was an added bonus for our evenings of playing Cribbage, Yahtzee, and cards. We look forward to coming back when it’s warmer to explore and hike this beautiful property.

Great place, great host!

A perfect place for my friend and I ... 2 master bedroom suites, each uniquely decorated in fun and thoughtful ways with lots of attention to details, down to tile choices, lighting, and even book selections to match the themes. The whole place was spotless, everything worked exactly as expected. The property is vast, beautiful, and available to all guests, an especially wonderful feature during a pandemic! Dr. Norris is the ultimate host. He was very responsive to all of my (many) questions during the reservation process and throughout the time leading up to our stay. I never had to wait even an hour to hear back from him, always with a thoughtful and thorough response. During our stay we were warmly greeted, granted total privacy, and yet he was always completely accessible should we need anything. We were even treated to freshly made, warm blueberry muffins! It doesn't get much better than that :). Not only would I stay here again, but I fully expect that I will ... and I'm already looking forward to it!

It was a very quaint bunk house. It was small and cute. But there was a lot to do. It’s right on the side of a hill with a beautiful view. House was filled with decorations that really made the house feel like a comforting and welcoming home. SUPERB WEEKEND GETAWAY LOCATION

This place is GREAT. Everything is as advertised. We came from NH on August 6-8th for a show at Bethel woods and it was the perfect spot. Only 20 minutes to the venue on back country roads. We had 5 in the group so we had rooms 1 & 2 which combine but have separate entrances. The place is masterfully built and decorated and spotless. We were a group of 5 adults that meal planned so we did bring a large cooler to store food and beverages, though the host does provide some of that. The views are amazing and even better in the fall I would imagine. We did some short hiking and a little road tripping to a couple of lakes and town center for some apps. The country roads are long and twisty and make for a nice relaxing ride. I'd give it 6 if I could. Greg Patch/Dover NH

Excellent stay!

Great stay; the unit is large with 2 floors, and very nice. Bathtubs are huge, and the farm property is large if you like to hike! And Dr. Norris was very responsive to my questions. Plus, there is a Tesla charger! This was a big deal for me, and worth it if you own a Tesla. Excellent stay overall, have nothing negative to say. All positive, five stars!

Nice location, needs improvements for more comfort

Owner was very responsive, and location is beautiful. However, for me it is important that the accommodations itself are comfortable. The beds (both bedrooms) were extremely uncomfortable and creaked every time you moved. The fan in the master bedroom made a clicking noise when it was turned on so that it was not usable. Thankfully it was cool outside in the evenings so we could have the window open. Also, the kitchen is setup in such an odd way that it is not really usable for that purpose. I think this could be a really nice place if the owner addressed some of the issues I mentioned.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Idea Farm. Very beautiful grounds which were fun to explore. The home was very clean and decorated with unique touches. We explored the surrounding towns And visited the Museum and grounds at Bethel Woods the site of the original Woodstock concert. We highly recommend coming here! I can imagine the Fall would be spectacular.

The property was spotless clean. The views were absolutely breathtaking, together with the quality of air, and to top it off, the water comes from a well and is the best water we have had in a very long time. Peaceful out of the way escape!

This house was spotless! There are 2 good size bedrooms-one upstairs and one down each with a full sized bathroom. There are TVs in the bedrooms. It’s a quiet place to stay. We were there in winter so didn’t get to walk around too much but I imagine in the summer that this place is breathtaking! The owner is super fast to respond to any questions (even silly ones lol) We would love to stay again.

The accomadations were terrific. The Host could not have been nicer. The enviorment was beautiful. Would return to this listing when returning to the area.

Great Stay

A++++ on this house and manager. Dr. Norris was extremely helpful. responsive and kind. He was there to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was comfortable and very clean. AC, WIFI and Jacuzzi were all nice amenities. The house comes with incredible views of the mountains and is very quite. Dr. Norris and his place are highly recommended!!
