'We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. 'Het was een superfijn verblijf. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en het huisje was boven verwachting mooi. Daarnaast was de host super vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. Het ontbijt was lekker en heel knus. Het enige nadeel is dat dit verblijf een stukje van la Fortuna afligt. Maar dit is wel goed aan te rijden. Ik zou dit zeker aanraden! '

'Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!'

'I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session.'
