2 Bedroom 1 1/2 Bath, 1 King, 1 Trundle bed (2 twins). Microwave, dishwasher, 2 TV's, 55-inch tv in living room, above the fireplace. Wireless high speed internet, gas log fireplace, gas BBQ. Nice ocean view, great deck, lots of light and only about a minute or less, to the beach! Entry level is from downstairs. Upstairs is the main part of the house which is the living room, dining area, half bathroom and kitchen. The deck is off the living room and directly faces the ocean. The downstairs consists of the two bedrooms and one full bathroom in between the bedrooms.
*Please note, the front bedroom is two levels with a step down, inside the doorway.*

House is very cozy with a well stocked kitchen. As an older person, I picked up the scatter rugs to prevent tripping. All other amenities were perfect. I would recommend this house for 2. It will accommodate 4 but it will be tight.

Comfortable, clean, quiet; near the shore

This house is well maintained and stocked with what we needed for a week. It has one large main bedroom with a TV and adjoining full bathroom, a small sitting room with a couch bed, and a laundry room on the ground level. A steep staircase leads up to an open floor living, dining and kitchen area with a guest bathroom (no shower). We were very comfortable there. The house is in a wealthy and very quiet neighborhood, where the only sound at night is the waves hitting the nearby rocky shore. There is little light pollution, so we enjoyed viewing the night sky filled with stars from the upper deck, and we could even see the Milky Way. There are hiking trails and dramatic views from the cliffs in the adjacent Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. There isn’t a straight route into town, where the nearest restaurants and shops are on Main Street. The town is about a five-minute drive away, which is partly through hilly, winding roads (drive carefully as many deer roam and run day and night), so consider whether the distance and time are worth the quiet and awesome views.

Adorable house just steps from the ocean, it was exactly what we were hoping for!

Very welcoming neighbors and just minutes from Main Street, it’s a perfect little seaside getaway in a town we love! Very clean, plenty of clean towels, blankets, etc, and the deck with the ocean view is just lovely!

Perfect location, cute house, but could use some improvements.

We’ve been renting in Cambria for several years now. Love the location of Marin Terrace. This house is adorable, but is smaller than it looks in pictures. Kitchen is tiny, only one person can be in there at a time…..and it is not well-stocked, either—perhaps, because the kitchen is so small and it has limited storage. But it is lacking in certain things… Like no cheese grater, no vegetable peeler, no salt/condiments, and only an old style corkscrew for wine that is difficult to use. But the most significant thing is the comfort in the living room. The couch is horrendous… There is absolutely no way to make it comfortable, it is so completely worn out, and the cushions are flat. Getting a new couch in the living room is a must for the owners. Master bed needs upgrading too, although I would say the couch is a priority. Rental options are limited if we want to stay in Marine Terrace, but we will search for a different house next time.

Cozy beach house

This is a great little beach house. Very clean and well stocked. Close to beach access yet in a quiet neighborhood. We have been coming to Cambria for years and this is our first time using VRBO. Just a couple things to consider with this house. The stairs are VERY steep. Not for anyone with mobility issues. Also, the furniture is very uncomfortable. I was hoping to curl up in a cozy chair or sofa. Please consider replacing the couch and wooden rocker with something more comfy. Otherwise, it’s just perfect!

More than met my expectations

The home was just what the 2 of us needed, but could easily accommodate 4. What a location!! A great view of the ocean (from a distance), many deer by the house, wonderful sounds of the waves, sea lions barking and birds chirping. The driveway is large easily accommodating 2 cars. Contact with the owner was easy when needed. The house had a warm, comfortable feeling. I STRONGLY recommend this property and hope to stay again.

Perfect home away from home!

I simply can’t say enough good things about this property! Often times beach properties are a little rundown with their popularity, but this one was in fantastic shape and will be at the top of our list for years to come! Located steps from the beach, you can spend the evening on the trex patio enjoying the sunset amd listening to the waves crash, or you can take the quick 5 minute drive to the the Cambria village. The only complaint, and it’s hardly a complaint, is the check out process. With that close proximity to the beach we were wanting to spend a little more time at the beach before hitting the road, so having to get keys back to the office in the village was kind of a bummer. While not a big deal at all, hopefully in the future they can install a lock box for keys for check out process.

Wish we had a longer stay

The house has everything you need and is in a quiet location a short walk to a rocky beach. You can see the ocean from the second floor so we didn't even need to go outside to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Just a note for folks who might have older people in their group, the stairs were fine for us, but I don't think my mother who is in her 70s would be comfortable going up and down the stairs, which are a little steep. We enjoyed our stay here and I hope to come back for a longer stay.

We were even more pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw the location, a block from the beach, and the great view from inside the house (from the living room on the second floor). Close to town, a few minute drive away and great walking/hiking from the house. We’d stay here again for sure!

Peaceful

The quaint little house was about a block from the ocean. The views were fantastic! It was in a quiet neighborhood and close to a beautiful bluff trail. A short drive took you to downtown Cambria. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was just right for home cooking. Deck was great! Although it was a bit windy when we were there we still enjoyed it. Stairs were a bit steep but we managed just fine. I would definitely stay here again!!
