Familie en diervriendelijke, Waterfront met Pier

Er zijn twee huizen op het terrein. In juni 2015 hebben we een volledige en volledige re-build van het koetshuis voltooid en zijn we weer actief op VRBO. Sinds ze in 2014 met pensioen ging, wonen Clarissa en ik fulltime in het huis en misschien zie je ons af en toe, maar het 'huisje' van het koetshuis is ontworpen als een vluchtpunt dat comfortabel, elegant, privé en gezellig is en geheugen maken. Het is perfect voor families, stelletjes en / of vrienden die gewoon wat tijd samen willen doorbrengen. Het is ver genoeg verwijderd van de beschaving om te genieten van het water, de lucht, bomen en dieren in het wild, zonder volledig van contact te zijn. U bent op korte rijafstand van Cambridge, Easton, St. Michaels en Salisbury voor veel entertainment op dagtochten. Voor natuurliefhebbers zijn we in de buurt van de Blackwater Refuge voor kajaks of kano's. Voor jagers is dit een gebied dat wordt gezocht door mensen die geïnteresseerd zijn in eenden, ganzen, herten, kalkoenen en anderen. Voor golfers zijn er twee nabijgelegen golfbanen en tal van gevarieerde en gewaardeerde lokale restaurants.

Als u liever gewoon op het terrein verblijft in een rustige, afgelegen natuurlijke arena, kunt u genieten van varen, kajakken, vissen, krabben (direct vanaf de pier), zwemmen, wandelen, fietsen, zitten met uw favoriete mensen of u vasthouden de hangmat met een goed boek. Bij koel of regenachtig weer zijn er spellen, boeken, internet en tv. Het huis is ontworpen voor entertainment, met een gloednieuwe keuken uitgerust met veel kookgerei, en de leefruimte is bevorderlijk voor een gemakkelijk gesprek en veel comfortabele zitplaatsen.

Er zijn twee verschillende gebieden om te dineren, binnen of onder de pergola, allemaal met het oog op de Brooks Creek / Choptank vista. Het is perfect voor een gezin om opnieuw kennis te maken of een romantisch uitje te maken. Wij bieden de ambiance, jij zorgt voor het plezier!

Woonkamer met 42 "flatscreen-tv, eetkamer, badkamer en keuken, twee met queensize bedden en een derde met een full-size bed, en een loft met twee aparte bedden. aparte 15 x 12 pergola met leistenen vloer, adirondacks, open haard en eethoek voor vier personen. De pier kan motorboten, kano's of roeiboten aan. Twee kajaks zijn beschikbaar. Beddengoed en papieren waren voorzien, samen met alle keukenapparatuur en eetwaren.

Another wonderful stay at this absolute jewel of a place. We had an amazing weekend and our kids loved every minute of it (even though it rained!). The house is perfect for 2 couples with kids. Beautiful experience. The property was right on the bay with spectacular views and sunsets. The house itself was wonderful. It was comfortable and beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and antiques.The kitchen had everything needed. AC and overhead fans provided excellent comfort. Kayaks and a canoe were great for cruising on the bay. They also had bikes available (we brought our own). Biking is a pleasure on the rural and flat terrain of the Eastern shore. Lastly (but not least) our hosts, Rob and Clarise were wonderful. Always accessable, helpful and friendly. Kudos all around.l

Rob and Clarissa's property is in the perfect location on Brooks Creek. The views are spectacular! We enjoyed listening to the birds or watching the activity on the water while we sipped our morning coffee. The three bedrooms and loft space provided more than enough room for 4 adults and two 17 year old boys. Rob is very responsive to any needs his guests may have. Several members of our party enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the creek. The boys enjoyed cooling off in the pool. We also used our bikes to ride on Cassons Neck Road to get a 6.5 mile round trip ride in.The boys rode to Soft and Salty Seafood for homemade ice cream. We also enjoyed a 1/2 bushel of crabs from Soft and Salty. Rob had everything we needed to pick crabs under the pergola on a sunny day.The home is a 20 minute drive to Cambridge where we found a couple very nice shops with artwork from local artists. Layton's Chance is a winery in Vienna that is a must visit for a flight of wine tasting or a slushy.This is the perfect place to just get away and relax at the property or travel to near by attractions. Our adult children took day trips to the many beach choices while we relaxed closer to Cambridge.

Rental vacation that checked all the boxes!

Property ground was huge with plenty of leisure activities to enjoy such as kayaks, dart board, above ground pool, bikes, swing, etc.The most enjoyable part was the private dock where we enjoyed crabbing and fishing, sunset viewing and just plain relaxing. All rooms were nicely organized with clean sheets, linen, towels and toiletries. The icing on the cake was the kindness and generosity of the owners Rob and Clarissa. They made us feel at home and treated us like family in going far beyond what's expected from any vrbo rental owners we have had in the past. Can't wait for our next summer crabbing experience in this mini paradise!

Multi-generational vacation

We had grandparents (75yr), parents (50yr), young adults and teenagers (17-21) and a dog. Everyone had something to do and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We did canoeing, swimming, boarding, fishing, crabbing, biking, sunbathing, we had S’mores, watched marvelous sunset, played card games. The dog had the most fun by chasing squirrels and rolling in the mud. He did not get to do this at home. My parents came to visit me from Bejing China. They had a good time talking with Rob and their grandkids. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We hope to come back again!

An absolute gem

The only thing I can say is that the online listing really doesn’t do justice to how amazingly stunning Rob & Clarissa’s place is. My family and I decided last minute that we wanted to spend a weekend on the bay. I never expected it to be so beautiful! We got there late in the evening and we were speechless when we woke up to the most beautiful view of the water. My son had an amazing time between playing in the loft or in the playhouse outside, kayaking, and paddle boating. My parents “settled” for chilling by the water and enjoying the firepit and gazebo. I strongly recommend it and plan to go back as soon as we can. Thank you for a wonderful time, Rob & Clarissa!!

Hit the "Reset" Button

If you are looking for a bit of serenity and stillness, this is the place to be. We enjoyed this beautiful waterfront property so much, we skipped our plans to drive around and explore more of the area because we just wanted to soak in the water and the sky, with the moon on one end and the sunset on the other. Staring at the moon and its light reflecting off the water as we sat around the fire is a picture I hope to keep in my memory for a long time. This is the perfect place to clear the mind and the lungs Rob and Clarissa are very friendly, warm and they welcomed us with a tour of the property. The house is well-furnished, comfy, cozy, and very clean. Rob advised us in advance to make sure we had provisions when we arrived, as it is not a quick trip to town for a morning cup of joe. I can't wait to return.

Cambridge Kayak trip

Excellent property and host! It was great bringing our small dog. Kayaking and paddle boarding free on-site. Everything you need for water sports and for living like your home away from home included. Thoughtful and caring host.

Amazing property, Amazing Hosts

I cannot give this property enough stars! They had absolutely everything a family could need to have the most relaxing yet activity-filled stay. The accomodations were spotless, the beds super comfortable, central air kept the place nice and cool, and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with all we could need. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, bicycles, fishing, crabbing, yard games, and fire pit. The hosts are super nice people who make you feel totally at home. Though we do not have little kids, the place would be great for them as well, with a small pool, play house, and all sorts of toys. The bay water was warm and fairly shallow but not super mucky like some inlets can be. Cannot wait to go back next year!!!

Stay at Rob’s house

Very awesome stay. Having rob on-site was a huge blessing- great information, guidance, and a very nice boat trip to a sandbar. They have all the water toys you can imagine- from water shoes to boats. Property and home are very well cared for.

Relaxing getaway

Rob and Clarissa did an amazing job making their loft apartment cozy, relaxing, and spacious. There's plenty of room for a whole family to eat, entertain and sleep in different rooms. And then their outdoor space is amazing! Huge yard, playground for the kids, and welcoming to our four-legged family members. Their property is right on the water, with a dock for boats and another for kayaks and paddle boat. My kids absolutely loved it and spent every second outside on their dock, fishing or in the water. We can't wait to come back for our next vacation! Thank you so much!!
