Uniek was de bijbehorende pub met gastvrouw en het meeneem ontbijt dat zij ons meegaf, wegens vroeg vertrek! Douchen was zo goed als onmogelijk...de rest van de dubbele, kamer was prima

We were in a double room but there is no mirror, yes, one mirror high up on the wall there are no dressing table for me to get ready to go to a Wedding, the bathroom is very small, no room to move to put my make up on and to comb my hair etc etc. Very disappointing , the first day no spoon for making tea, no knife to use the butter and jam and croissant were frozen in fridge as our breakfast ???

Kings Head, Sawston.
One of four rooms in an adjacent block (so no disturbance from the pub), the room and bathroom were very clean and provided everything needed for a one-night stay. Appears to have recently been refurbished. Good-size shower cubicle and good quality towels provided. We chose twin beds and they were full-size singles, unlike those often provided in smaller hotels. Room was large, warm and well lit. Breakfast was continental and pre-packed in a small 'fridge, consisting of one croissant with buuer and jam, one pain au chocolat and one cereal bar plus a bottle of orange juice. Tea tray also provided. Adequate - especially for the price. Had a drink in the bar before going to a nearby retaurant. Decent selection of beers and natives friendly.

Very quiet and comfortable stay.
Very comfortable, quaint rooms. We were only there for a night but would be more than happy to spend longer there. Cooked breakfast would have been nice but we were really happy with the price so you can't have everything. The continental breakfast provided was fine. Owners were lovely and we enjoyed a drink with them in the evening.

Cottage hotel room
Nice cottage room, beautiful outside seating area and flower boxes. Quite low ceiling pub. Was cold in the night and morning though, and couldn’t turn on any heating! Breakfast continental good products, although could’ve done with one of those little box of cereals. Floor and shower could’ve done with being more clean. Excellent value for money!

Nice and comfortable place to stay
This was really nice, clean rooms and comfortable amenities. My only issue was that I didn't know how to contact them in the morning before checking out, we wanted to get more toilet paper and hand them the key. So just more communication about how to reach them if we needed anything would have been helpful. My phone wasn't working so I couldn't call.

Central location, spacious accommodation
Great place to stay for couple of nights. Spacious accommodation in central location near shops,pubs & plenty of places to eat. Everything you needed supplied.Plenty of tea & coffee & hot chocolate which was nice before bed. Lots of towels & shampoo & shower gel in bathroom.Very clean.Only downside was the bed wasn't very comfortable & didn't help my back.Would stay again if in area.

Lovely little place
We only stayed one night before to to war musuem.Our host was welcoming.Room at back of pub with free parking.Room was clean with tea making facilities and toiletries provided.We also had a much needed fan.The place was very quiet during our stay .We were offered choice for breakfast and what time we wanted it.Had an outside table and bench for our use.

Good one-night stopover
Had a room in an annex to the pub. Everything was fine - room, bed, shower - no problem at all for one night. Breakfast, in the pub, was good, parking easy, and the landlord was friendly and efficient. High point was the beer - a nice pint at a good price. At the price, I would have no hesitation in stopping there again.

Friendly welcome, good accommodation, nice brekkie. All staff we met were great. Stopped for one night before heading on to Cambridge. As far as value for money goes this would be very difficult to beat.

It was just a flying stop, breaking up a long journey. The King's Head was just what the doctor ordered. Ben was really friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and clean, the bed comfortable, and the full English breakfast the following morning set me up for a ling day travelling. I would happily stay here again

Ideal location with good links to Cambridge
It’s important to note that the location is typically a Bed & Breakfast, not a hotel. That said the room was clean and freshly decorated and has clearly been updated recently. The manager and team are also new and were very considerate of our needs and eager to please. We only had breakfast on the first day and this was cooked to our requirements and at the time we requested it be served. It’s likely that we would stay at this place again, particularly given the price paid and the services offered. That said, having lived in Sawston for 8 yrs we were very familiar with the location and the clientele frequenting the establishment. Whilst friendly they can be quite rowdy, particularly late in the evening and given the rooms are about 20yds from the rooms the experience may not to be to everyone’s taste. Especially if you are planning an early night or staying on a weekend.. something to consider.

Excellent pub accommodation with cooked breakfast
No-frills accommodation that delivered everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and everything worked. Soya milk was provided as requested, cooked breakfast provided by a friendly person and nothing was too much trouble. Very approachable staff and we'll definitely stay there again.
