So Peaceful!
We positioned ourselves in Cambridge Springs PA so that we could travel up to 6 hours northeast to 6 hours southwest to catch the 2024 Eclipse. We were fortunate that we needed to only travel about 2 hours west to Ohio to catch the best weather. We would have had a wonderful view from the Cambridge Springs location, but were unsure about the weather. The cottage was homey and well stocked with everything we needed. We didn’t take advantage of the game room in the basement, preferring to cozy up with a good book or a movie, but it looked like great fun. The lake views from the deck and the sunsets were gorgeous! We were mesmerized by the beavers that crossed the lake back and forth all day long. There was plenty of green space for the dogs and we loved the quiet neighborhood. The local farmers market and chocolate shop are a must-see for delicious treats! Great stay and the hosts, Amy and Robin, responded immediately when we had a minor issue with the shower. We would definitely book again if we were looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat.

Beautiful relaxing spot on a serene lake... and ping pong!
This cozy cottage on a small hill above a serene lake provided a relaxing retreat for four older dudes... old enough to need a relaxing retreat but not so old that we couldn't go out to explore the lake with the provided kayaks or engage in some fiercely competitive ping pong on the very nice table in the first floor apartment. Amy was very responsive and helpful, the place was super comfortable and quiet, and everything worked out great!

Perfect relaxation spot
The place was even cuter in person! The property is beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. Everything we could have possibly needed except clothes and food was provided. Amy is super welcoming, responsive, and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Huge, Beautiful, Comfortable Home on the Lake
This home was absolutely wonderful! So much space! Loved the enclosed porch bedroom, the deck and furniture, the view, the hammock chairs, the basement with ping pong. The four of us had an amazing time. The kitchen is great! Fully stocked, newer appliances. I cooked plenty. Great communication. No complaints!

Great vacation spot
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a lovely place. The scenery is nice and the available amenities were great. We were able to back and forth between Erie and here with no problems and it is a fantastic ride. We had no major problems, the only thing I would mention is that the porch bedroom is not air conditioned which was a downside. The downstairs setup is quite different than I expected but we did not use it other than to play table tennis. Overall the stay was great and we would definitely consider coming back!

Five Star Relaxation!!
Although we live at the Jersey shore, we had to head to the Erie area Fourth of July weekend for our nephews wedding. To ease the pain of having to leave the beach on a holiday weekend, we decided to make a little vacation out of it. In my search for an VRBO, I stumbled upon this house and we couldn’t have been happier! Although the house is CLEAN, comfortable and very cute, our favorite spot was the back deck overlooking the lake. Each morning we'd have our coffee on the deck and watch the birds of every color flutter around, a doe and her fawns stroll along the bank, muskrat swimming around and eagles soaring overhead. It was unbelievable peaceful and beautiful. In the evening, we'd head out to the deck again, light the gas fire pit and relax some more. Other highlights of this property are the comfy beds, the ping pong table (my husband couldn't be beaten), the availability of bikes, kayaks and cornhole games as well as the easy communication with Amy. I don't know if we will be back in the area in the future, but if we are, we'd love to rent the house again.

Charming
My girlfriends and I were looking for a nice getaway for the weekend when I stumbled upon this rental. Already familiar with the area we thought we would give this place a try. Well, we LOVED it !!! The hostess Amy was wonderful. The cottage was close to everything,. The views from the deck were beautiful. The beds were so comfortable everyone of us had a good nights sleep. The fire table was so relaxing. We even went kayaking and all of us even got a massage. We all talked about what we are going to do our next trip...Again THANKS Robin and Amy for sharing this beautiful place with us.

Beautiful lake view
This is a comfortable, nothing-fancy cottage with a wonderful view of the lake. We love birds and wildlife and were thrilled to see a bald eagle twice on our first day, many geese with goslings following behind, and a muskrat (?) swimming by from time to time. It's only about 40 minutes to Presque Isle for serious warbler watching, and we also enjoyed the walk right around our own lake. Our host Amy was very helpful and even added Hulu Live to their TV service so we could satisfy our daily Jeopardy craving!

Nice getaway on the lake.
We very much enjoyed our short getaway. The home is welcoming and the view of the lake from the deck is stunning. The location is remote enough to enjoy the quiet while being close enough to take advantage of shopping and excursions.

Magical sunsets 'LiL Love Inn
We had a great time, it was so comfortable and so very relaxing. Loved sitting on the back deck and at night with the propane fire place table was very nice ! The 'LiL Love Inn had everything you could possibly need as far as pots ,pans,dishes and towels ,linens and so on,its was a great 5days wished we could've stayed longer, but we will definitely be back. thanks again Amy for all your help

Exceptionally clean, quaint, and comfortable!
I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for privacy and relaxation. The owners offered a great personal touch to the place. The personal touch was much appreciated. A tornado warning was issued while we were there and they even contacted us to make sure all was ok and that we were safe. We are definately planning to stay there again if we go back to that area!!

Top Notch
We have stayed at 4 rentals this summer. This was by far our best experience. Great beds, linens, and anything you could possibly ask for. We loved the rear porch overlooking the pond. Also enjoyed walks around the lake with our dog.

Awesome Stay
We came up for my sons wedding and stayed 2 nights. The home was very comfortable and spacious. The owner/manager of the property went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Had a great time in the basement, relaxing, playing ping pong, darts and listen to some great music. Highly recommend this property! Thank you for an Awesome experience!

Nice weekend getaway!
The home is just as it’s pictured, and was a perfect little secluded getaway from our busy Pittsburgh life. We stopped at the Edinboro Sunset Grill for dinner, which has a great view and live music. Then we enjoyed a day of fishing on the lake behind the house, coffee on the deck, drinks at Sprague Farm and dinner at the Venango Golf Club. Last we stopped into Flip Cafe for breakfast on our way home! We couldn’t have ask for a better trip! Thank you to the ladies for hosting us in such a cute little cabin getaway. Convenient but private and quite!

Scenic and Relaxing Get Away
Lets start by saying I've stayed at quite a few Air BnB and Home Away properties and this one goes above and beyond from the time you pull in. Upon arriving there is a keyless entry that simplifies the 'check in' process. Then there is a lovely little welcome book that has the 'House Rules' such as check in and check out procedures, and local brochures, things to do, operations manuals for the various fun things on the back porch. There was even a new propane tank in the garage when ours ran out. They literally think of it all. The place is stocked ... The Kitchen has condiments, salt and pepper various seasonings, coffee etc (if you are staying directly after us we stayed Jun 11-13) there was no ketchup BUT literally everything else even siracha... we had no need for ketchup so it was a non issue but figured I'd put it out there since I said ketchup... but I digress. There are pots and pans and bowls plates peelers... everything... The Bathroom has just about everything... There is face lotion, wash, body wash, soaps various shampoos and conditioners, toothpaste, q-tips, womens necessities, body lotions and its good stuff too... Mary Kay and Paul Mitchell, Toms The Bedrooms and Rest of the Place there are board games, dvd's, amazon prime, Netflix, comfy blankets and robes to lounge around in, all the linens on all the beds, wonderfully comfortable beds and blankets and pillows, towels, wash cloths etc.. Now the actual review ... The boyfriend and I wanted a quiet little get away for just a few days and I'm so glad we found this little gem of a place. We stopped at the grocery store in Meadville so we wouldn't have to leave and had no reason to once we arrived. We spent hours just sitting on the back deck listening to nature and taking in the scenery. When it got dark we lit the propane table and enjoyed the fire. One of the days we took a walk up the road and found a quad trail and walked around in the forest for a little while. When we returned I took the kayak out (never kayaked before so that was fun) while Kayaking the neighbor Linda talked to the boyfriend and waved me in and she let us take her dual paddle boat out!!!! So kind of her. I loved sleeping on the porch bed with all the windows open listening to the frogs and the rain one evening... We also took advantage of the backgammon game. Amy was very responsive to any message sent and quick to answer everything. Plan on staying again with my kid and dog! Thank You Amy!

Julie--We are sad to hear that your experience was not exceptional. We work very hard to see that our guests are happy (and they usually are!). With the change in season the wasps found a home near our front porch. While we addressed the issue as soon as we received your concern, spraying twice during your two night stay, I understand how this may have deterred your enjoyment. In the meantime, we continue to make sure the wasps do not return. May your next trip be more satisfactory...

Quiet & scenic location
This is by far one of our favourite VRBO rentals! The cottage was well equipped with all the comforts of home. The owners have thought of everything to make our stay an enjoyable one. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The ice machine, coffee maker, spices and large supply of condiments were an added bonus! Our daughters enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the lake, and when it rained there was lots to keep us entertained including ping-pong, board games & puzzles, a guitar and Netflix. We would highly recommend this rental, and are looking forward to going back next year.

We stayed at the cabin next to this, but I’m sure the owners put the same amount of care into their properties. No complaints, it was very peaceful and we had everything we needed.

I'd give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could...
I've been using HomeAway for a few years now, and I've stayed in many homes. I can honestly say that "A Li'l Love Inn" is among my absolute favorites. I brought my wife and daughters for a mini ski weekend at Mount Pleasant at Edinboro. We could see the slopes from the back deck and it was only a ten minute drive to the slopes. Speaking of back deck, it has one of the most beautiful views around. Situated right on the lake, it is a spot that I would have frequented for some peaceful relaxation if it wasn't winter. Luckily, as beautiful as the view was, the inside of the home was just as amazing. The front sleeping porch looks like it could be in a storybook cottage. Both of the bedrooms in the main portion of the home are wonderful too. The whole place just pulses with a relaxed and comforting vibe. Our daughters loved their bedroom and appreciated the small details like fairy lights on the frame of their beds. Since it's situation on the outskirsts of Edinboro and Meadville, there are plenty of eating establishments within a 10 to 15 minute drive. However, we brought food back to the Cottage because we literally didn't want to leave it. Ultimately, what set this place apart from so many others were the little details that made it feel truly like a home away from home: a small table with a half finished puzzle that invites guests to contribute, the selection of soft blankets to cuddle up on the couch with, the keurig coffee maker with a selection of coffee ready for you, the toys and games that invite children and adults to relax and enjoy time with family and friends, etc... The only bad part about the weekend was having to leave... From now on I plan on making my visits to "A Li'l Love Inn" an annual tradition...I just might have to stay a little longer next time!
