U bevindt zich op een klein eindje rijden van de stranden van Lake Erie en op een steenworp afstand van antiekwinkels in Cambridge Springs. This place was nothing short of breathtaking. The owner had great communication and everything went smooth. He was very generous and the kids loved visiting with the the horses. The house is quite an experience and will be our top choice for next year's annual stay!

Beautiful property. We completely enjoyed this place. Host was friendly and responsive though we had no issues. House was clean and well stocked. They even gave us fresh eggs from the farm! The barn is awesome, decorated with very interesting antiques with explanations of historyThe view from the porch on the back of the barn is serene.Would definitely recommend this place!

This house had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. We enjoyed looking at the decor and spending time with the horses. The proverty was pet-friendly and made it easy to travel with our dog. The house was close to the university and provided a great gathering point for us to visit, shop downtown and enjoy the outdoors.

Weekend in Cambridge Springs

We enjoyed our brief stay while in the area for a family wedding . Our quaint home was as it was listed and the hosts were very friendly and hospitable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely, peaceful farmhouse. The kitchen was incredibly equipped not only with dishes and utensils, but spices and condiments. The host kindly left fresh eggs in the fridge for us. Our bed was very comfortable. We were surrounded by beautiful nature. The farmhouse was very pet friendly. We would totally recommend this VRBO.

Thanksgiving Stay

We stayed over Thanksgiving since my kids are going to college at Edinboro. We enjoyed it quite a bit. It was very nice and a great place to relax. We would gladly stay again.

We loved our stay and will be back! We had a wonderful time at this very special property. The owners are wonderful and knowledgeable. They thought of everything we could need including fresh eggs and veggies from their garden. The history from this farm made it even more special and we loved the animals !

Exceptional hosts

Kihm and Hope are warm and welcoming people, and their property is lovely. The house has absolutely everything a guest could need plus more. If you are looking for a quiet respite in the country, this is it!

Family weekend getaway

My husband, myself, our daughter, son in law, and our 5 year old grandson had a wonderful weekend at the Hard Aground Farm. Our grandson loved feeding the animals, and exploring around the farm. It's a great place for all ages. Quiet atmosphere, in a beautiful country setting. The farm house is equipped with everything you need. The owners were very kind and welcoming.

Family getaway

Beautiful property. Loved everything it offered. Kihm and Hope were excellent hosts. Surprised with lettuce abd beans from their garden-delicious. Blueberries on site made from a great desert. Loved the view from the barn deck. Darrell is now my 3rd favorite cat. We enjoyed feeding the horses and hearing Kihm's stories. Great vacation thanks to them.. we'll be back

Hard aground farm

We enjoy the quiet moments and the beautiful atmosphere!! The most important part of this trip was the fact that we had the opportunity to meet up with our loved ones and share the experience with them in person. We absolutely love seeing the beautiful farm and the animals Our hosts are so warm and welcoming we truly love the place!! We did miss the eggs lol. Maybe next year🤪

Always just what you need.

This was our third time at Hard Aground. Always an amazing experience. We had my parents join us for a few days. Plenty of room for everyone to be more than comfortable. Of course they didn’t want to leave. Who does? I would recommend this experience to all!! Kihm and Hope are always accommodating and quick to answer any questions.

Beautiful Setting

This is the most well stocked VRBO in which we have stayed. Eggs from then farm chickens was such an added touch. The setting is beautiful. My daughter’s graduation pictures ended up looking like we picked a professional photographer. Note, the shower is upstairs only and the steps are steep. There is a deep bathtub downstairs, but for my older family this presented a challenge.

Wonderfully peaceful and enjoyable family getaway !!!

This farm has something special about it that warms the heart and allows for intimate social gathering. The farm owners, Kihm and Hope, were terrific hosts. They are both very kind and interesting people who are readily available but provide space for guests to fully enjoy their endearing farm. The were very inviting and allowed interaction with the farm animals for our young ones to enjoy !! Being secluded yet close to regional activities made this vacation so special. Very clean accomodations and fine accoutrements. I highly recommend this property for anyone and hope to revisit in the near future !!

Winter Wonderland

Is there a better place to be snowed in at then Hard Aground Farm…. I think not. With everything snow covered and frozen we weren’t sure how our get away would go! It was amazing. Beautiful views, such a warm cozy house, and all the amenities you could want. Our dogs absolutely love to play around the barn and yard. Don’t let the cold and snow stop you. This is the place to stay! We had just as much fun here in the winter as we did this fall! Kihm and Hope truly make you feel like you are Home!

What an idyllic place! Guests who wake with the roosters can admire cattle grazing peacefully in the mist in the hills behind the house. Friendly horses amble to the fence to greet you. Our dog was fascinated by the farm animals and loved walking the grounds.Upon arrival, we found a handwritten note from the hosts, who could not have been friendlier or more hospitable.The farmhouse is large, comfortable and extremely well-stocked. We were delighted to find fresh eggs in the refrigerator and a full array of pots, pans, dishes, flatware and spices in the kitchen cabinets. Conveniently located between Edinboro and Cambridge Springs, the farmhouse offers privacy but is a short drive down pretty country lanes to restaurants (e.g., Crossroads Dinor and Sunset Grill in Edinboro), stores (e.g., Walker’s Buttons & Bows consignment shop in Cambridge Springs), and Edinboro University.We can’t wait to return!!!
