'We turned up and there was already a family in the property, we had no way of contacting someone and the family kindly gave us the owners number who contacted us the next day but the night we arrived we were left stranded after 4 hours of driving with no where to stay with 3 young children. I would not book again '

'Room could have been cleaner. Hair in tub still, fingernail clipping behind door. Restaurant was very busy and we needed reservations to eat. Was not pointed out upon arrival. Restaurant ran out of some menu items by the time we could eat. Food was meh. This hotel is farther away from city center and to get to more eating places is about 20 minute walk. Good for getting in and out of each day, not good for food when we got back. Breakfast was ok, but they were slow to replace items that...

'The owner was just fantastic, so attentive to our needs and the secret way to locate the property, (if you know, you know, it is a genius), the first people and or persons we were introduced to were three stunning horses. (Two of our favourite royals after Kate of course, & My Wife' nickname), we loved the alpacas, the rabbits, the dogs and it was just so picturesque and beautiful. Our whole holiday was just perfect we didn't want to leave. We would love to see the owner again and love that part...

'Mooi hotel, wel een ouder gebouw, met veel lastige trappen. Restaurant is prima, ontbijt ook prima. Bereikbaarheid met de wagen is lastig.'

'Mat and Wolfie made our stay at the Wellington wonderful! Both were helpful with suggestions for hikes and food. We had long conversations with each. The pub had a nice fire,and Wolfie was kind, hospitable, and intriguing. Mat helped us find the most perfect room as we were walkins arriving just before dinner. He told us stories and laughed and enjoyed our interest in the area. It was definitely one of our most favorite stays in the UK. The hotel is charming and a quintessential UK pub hotel....

'A great starting point to visit Cornwall because the atlactic and southern coast lines as well as the western part of Dartmore National Park are reachable within an our (of so) by car. Jamaica Inn is sometimes crowded and busy probably because all sorts of people visit it, but the real pub fealing is always present. Staff has not got the time to really get in touch with their customers but they are friendly and always ready to answer to your questions. The room was perfect, clean; a 100 %...
