'We cannot compliment this property enough: We stayed 2 nights in one of the Garden Rooms with entrance off the garden beside a babbling brook and enclosed by trees in autumn colour. The grounds are stunning with seating areas, garden gnomes and soft lighting. Frogs are the theme with unique and whimsical figures inside and out! Our room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was located a few steps above the bedroom. Not a concern for us but might be an issue for those with limited...
'What I liked: room was nice, good view, bed and bedding was comfy. Service was great. Loved all the pictures of the musicians scattered around the hotel.
What we didn’t like: the decor in the lobby was a bit over the top and gaudy. It did not give it a nice relaxing entrance to the hotel. So many lights and mirrors. I guess it was a bit of a party/Las Vegas kind of look but really not what we wanted travelling to St John’s.'
