Great Family vacation
Casa Chloe was a great place to stay in Cancun. It was convenient for our large family. Issues with one A/C unit and the oven were resolved promptly. Proximity to the beach was great, taking the beach chairs and umbrella with us several times. Kitchen had all the tools necessary to cook, and we even cooked out on the patio grill once. Overall a great experience!

Fantastic spot!
The house is set up perfectly for a larger group with kids. The downstairs living room offered the kids a spot in the morning to wake up and watch tv. Ample living space to have late night conversations without disturbing those asleep. Overlooking the pool and super easy walk to the beach. The amenities are fantastic and host was very responsive. Will definitely be booking again.

NICE POOL, GREAT LOCATION
Our three-generation family of six found this villa perfect for our needs. The 4-year-old loved the shallow pool. The beach was a five-minute walk away, and we appreciated the chairs and beach toys. Roomy, clean and comfortable villa. Daniel responded almost immediately to emails. Kitchen is well stocked--we should have cooked more as all nearby restaurants are very expensive!

Super little House
Our stay in this super little house was excellent. The house has plenty of space, is in a really good area close to so many things, and the host is fantastic to work with and to reply quickly. There were small little things that could have been issues, but Daniel goes above and beyond to make sure you as the guest is taken care of and you can enjoy your stay. That to me was a huge plus and I would recommend anyone looking for a place to give this little house a try.

Spactacular Stay!
This was our first time booking through VRBO, & the experience was as best as we could have imagined! The property was clean & well kept, but it was the smallee details that made our stay enjoyable. A full 5 gal water jug was available, a full kitchen with ample cookware, glassware and plate settings were available. All we needed was just food & spices. The owner was available if/when we needed her. We definitely will book again in the future!

Great space for group
A group of 8 friends including myself stayed here for 3 nights while in Cancun and we really enjoyed our time at the property. It was located very close to the beach (5 min walk) and also had a nice, clean pool right outside of the unit. There were pool towels and beach chairs/umbrella for the beach which came in very handy. The bedrooms and common spaces in the unit were very spacious. Check in and out was easy. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a non-resort option in the main hotel zone of Cancun.

Great location
We had a great stay and the location was great easy access to the beach and easy walk to the bus . There was 12 guests and we had more then enough room . Kitchen is updated and the bathrooms as well . The only bad thing was the Wi-Fi kept cutting out and they did not explain that the electricity is something you get 10 dollars a day for and if you go over that then you pay for it out of the deposit . So they check the meter before and after and then charge you the difference and release what is left . I stayed 3 days and went over by 15 dollars . Which we had the windows open most of the time and it was only in the 70's . This is a three story condo and it does have AC in all the rooms . Which would easily run over 10 dollars a day if you ran the AC all day . The first I seen of the electricity charge was when I got the email day before check-in . I do think this should be in the listing as a must know and a added expense .

Hello Tera I hope you arrived safe and happy at home. I appreciate your comments but I need to clarify your comments. When you reserved the house you must to accept the Rental Agreement (which is in the platform) in that rental agreement, and in the Guest Rules as well, you have all details about the electricty and other conditions, if you didn't accept that you can not proceed with the reservation, so was not 24 hours that you know that, perhaps you didn't read it, I understand, but everything is clear at the moment of any reservations. We sent the letter 24/48 hours before your arrival to refresh the memory of the deposit and in the letter we send, are the check in instructions will all details to arrive at the house. When you put the AC in ON you must to close doors and windows, here in Mexico and more in Cancun in the Hotel Zone the electricity is expensive is not like in USA, I wish but not. Electricity is not our business, most of the time nobody had any extra consumption. About internet, I beleive was something specific from the Company Supply we have only one to choose, in the Hotel Zone you don't have 2 or more options to select a internet company, is only one, but we never had any problem. Good option
This was our first experience of renting a home with VRBO or anyone else and I am happy to say that the house was as it appeared in the photos. The mini splits in each bedroom and in the living room were great and kept things comfortable. We were very conscientious about using them only while sleeping at night or when spending time in the living room. We haven't got our payment for the "power deposit" so we will see how that works out. The location was within easy walking distance to the beach and we used the Cancun bus system to get around. There was a bus stop right on the corner by the property which was very handy. The pool was nice and well maintained and the grounds throughout the whole compound were immaculate. We used the pool a lot. The house was in a gated community and the guards were very friendly and helpful. There are a couple of things that can be improved: the washing machine was really slow and with one towel a piece for 8 days, we had to do some laundry. Having access to extra linens would be a great option: take a dirty towel, pick up a clean one. There were also a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The only bathroom fan that worked was the one in the master bathroom. None of the 3 others worked and the bathroom on the main floor was very stinky. The bedroom door for the master bedroom was also very noisy when opening and closing it. The appliances other than the washer all worked well and there was adequate pans and kitchen utensils to do the basic cooking that we did. We got some prices from Marianne Barrie for a shuttle and some excursions. She was willing to schedule things for us but was also very expensive. The 30 minutes we spent on the laptop scheduling things on our own through travel websites was well worth our time. WiFi was adequate and what small amount we watched TV, it worked fine. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend staying there to friends and family.

About the electricity deposit we never kip the deposit, believe me is not our business, the only thing is you check out on Saturday 25 and today I sent you the information and asking your account to transfer the deposit, is the same with all our guests, perhaps you didn't take note that was a week end to refund you by transfer. The washing machine is like we have in any house is not industrial machine, and is for 6 towells, we use to wash some towells in the house some times, and works perfectlly. In all bathroom the fan 's are working, but you must to put in ON the break for the fan. Sorry for the door, we are going to double check. Was a shame that you didn't tell us that things, because we have 24 hours to fix any problem, that is our commitment with all our guests for more than 15 years, and you can see in all the reviews. About the tours & activities, usually 80% of our guests took our services, first of all for the quality, you have many different options with different qualities, some times activities without insurance or good prices because the service is not like we provide. For pick up's we provide private van's, with inusrance and lugagges included and USD 15 per person round trip I believe is not expensive, but I respect your opinion. Luxurious and big for large group
Excellent for our needs. Lots of rooms for big group of people. Great communication with host. Public beach access at the corner (thanks for the beach chairs and umbrella; hotel hard rock beach is next to it so it's awesome), modern kitchen with air fryer oven! Internet 100mbps more than enough to work on long zoom meetings but only in the main floor (downstairs or upstairs goes down considerably but enough for regular web browsing). Breakfast place and a good mini market 4 min away walking. At the corner you will take the bus up and down the hotel zone, cheap and fast. Security guard at the door and really quiet, no noise at all. We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked nice!

Extended family vacation
Property was overall good especially for our group of 7(2 couples and 3 adult age kids). We were first timers to Cancun but not to Mexico so we were able to figure things out, however some minor details about the area and amenities would have been nice(how to use local transportation, where to get groceries, how to refill water, etc). Other rentals I’ve been in have had a welcome notebook with this info, maybe dining recommendations etc, which would’ve been helpful. Property was clean and had all the basic needs. Some repairs could be made(loud squeaky doors, burnt out bulbs) but overall in good condition. Owner was easy to work with and responsive to any questions we had despite being out of country. Perfect Location and Stay
Celebrating friends and family this location was perfect for our girls trip! We had the option of a quiet time at the pool or a short walk to the beach to mix with others staying in the area. A 10-20 minute walk to the grocery store or take your pick of fun restaurants just across the street! We had a great time and felt secure and safe in our living space. Our only issue was the Wi-Fi was spotty but this was due to the local service provider, so if you need to do anything important while visiting you may want to bring a booster or be prepared to use your personal hotspot. Overall definitely would recommend the stay!

Amazing property along with a fully loaded house
The area was amazing being right in the middle of the hotel zone. Everything was accessible and a bus stop close by. Parking spaces as well if you were to rent a car. Daniel was an amazing host and we booked all of our tours through Marianne, just ask Daniel to get you in contact with her. It made everything so much easier. Definitely book this place if you have a big group as well.

Better Than Imagined!
This was my first time booking a stay using Vrbo so I did not know what to expect. You often hear horor stories about how online pictures and descriptions depict one thing, but the reality is quite different. In this case, the reality was better than the pictures!! The home is just as beautiful as described, the location is convenient to everything you need and Daniel, our host, was warm, receptive and easily accessible. Check-in was easy and the compound is well secured. Although the beach is an easy walk, the pool was everyone's go-to place for relaxation and conversation. Guests in other villas were warm and respectful. Overall, I highly recommend this property!

Good amount of space in a central location
We booked this villa for a week-long stay with adults and young children. We appreciated the responsiveness Daniel provided before and during our trip. Pros: - Villa is gated and staffed by security 24/7. - Location is in the center of the hotel zone, with walking access (~5-7 min) to the beach, Playa Ballenas. - Lots of space with 4 bedrooms (1 small bedroom with no windows in basement, 1 bedroom on main floor with 2 full beds, 2 bedrooms with king beds and en-suite bathrooms). - Villa equipped for all beach/pool needs - pool/beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, tennis, and beach toys. - Basement floor has easy access to tennis courts and two pools (one deeper one for adults and one shallow one for kids). - Full size washer/dryer, easy to use. - Individually controlled air conditioning unit in each room except basement bedroom. - Gallon of portable water provided by host (with more water available if needed). - Overall residence was very clean upon check-in. Considerations: - Kitchen is very narrow, only room for 1 person at a time. Decently equipped with kitchen tools but equipment is older (need to manually light gas stove and oven). - Primary bedroom bath with jacuzzi tub does not have a shower curtain, and drains a little slower than expected. - Check-in process was a little clunky since the staff is not bilingual, but we figured it out. - Power deposit is mentioned in other reviews. We were concerned that we would use a lot of A/C during a humid week, so we tried to keep the windows/doors open during the day and only used the A/C at night. Overall we used about $20 USD of our deposit. - There are two convenience stores within walking distance, keep in mind they are not large supermarkets. You'll need a car or take the bus to the larger supermarket if you are looking to buy fresh produce. - Definitely walkable to certain restaurants, although fewer options if you are looking for more affordable options. The main street sidewalk is quite narrow; cars drive pretty quickly past and could be dangerous for smaller kids. - Patio doors seemed to be difficult to lock, which made them shake during days with stronger winds. Overall we enjoyed our stay and our time at the villa, Daniel was quite responsive and helpful in answering any questions we had. The beach equipment and proximity to a less-crowded pool was great for our group.

Hi Heather Thank you for your comments, but I want to calrify something: The kitchen is not only for one person, in 15 years we have this house on vacation rental in any review is mentioned, if will be for 1 person I believe that someone of our guest mentioned that. The stove works perfectly and is not old equipment only because you don't have electronic system on it, for security reason we disconect the electronic system. Supermarket you have at 4 blocks walking distance I sent you by message all instructions. You need to cross the Bvd Kukulcan only to go to the restaurants, not to the beach or any other place. Great Property! Great Location!
We spent a month in Cancun and this property was ideal for our extended stay. The property on VRBO was accurately represented. The owners and complex staff were very accommodating and our stay couldn't have been better. The owners were very helpful with arranging our excursions. Bedrooms were very comfortable, social spaces inviting. access to the property amenities and to the beach was convenient. We took the public bus almost everywhere, and at a block away it was very convenient. We would most definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this property.

Great location in Cancun
We enjoyed our 2 nights in the 4 bedroom condo. The location is great and close to te city bus lines. 34 hour security guards. Two small pools for cooling off on hot days. The unit itself is well maintained. Courteous cleaning staff and security people. There is an extra energy deposit in case the occupants use too much energy on air conditioning. We got this money back as we did not use the air much. We noted that the sliding screen doors in the bedroom in the back would not slide at all. The spiral staircase was a challenge to maneuver with travel bags. You are not on the beach but very close to beach access. Overall it was a good value.

Hi Mark Thank you for your comments. The doors your mention (the sliding screen doors in the bedroom) are in the first floor and is not possible to open for security reason, is a rule in the complex. We have our staff waiting for all guest in the house to maneuver the luggage when some time is difficult (depends the guest) and assist you in all what the guest needs.Is the first time that we have that comment in 10 years, but is good know to improve more. Looks exactly as pictured!
Loved the house & it’s closeness to the beach. Only thing that caught me off guard was the low water pressure but that could be the country itself, not sure. Also, A/C didn’t work in one room. Other than that, NO COMPLAINTS!

About the AC I'm sorry about that you didn't report that, my staff could have been right away to check. It was already check and it was only control battery change. Yes the machine of the refrigerator is disconnected because the water in Cancun is not potable and is the way that the refri works. For that reason we leaved an ice bag. I hope to see you next time. Too many rules and hidden fees
Upon arrival we were told that we would have to leave a $2000 pesos deposit (around $100 dollars) in case used too much electricity and at the end we used more electricity that we were supposed to and they kept the deposit. The condo is ok, the area is great. I wouldnt book this place again.

Clean, big and in a perfect location
We just returned from a 10 day trip and it was perfect. The condo is so clean and plenty of room for the entire family. The house has everything including bottled water. Daniel was extremely accommodating and responds very quickly. We made travel plans through his wife which was a bonus. I have stayed at many VRBOs and this was the best one yet! If I return to Cancun, I would stay here again without hesitation.

Fantastic home. The staff were great and the owner was responsive to any and all questions.
Was a wonderful place. Easy access to the beach. I would certainly use this place again in the future. This home is fantastic. Only surprise was the deposit for power. The deposit amount may be somewhere on the website but I could not find it. It’s 100 US dollars only. The owners cover 10 US a day for power. The deposit is if you go over that amount. I certainly understand the need for this deposit. It is warm and if you leave all the air conditioners in every room on while you are away, the power consumption would be costly. We used the air at night and left windows open during the day. My deposit was returned in full at the end of the stay. I only mention it because I was surprised by it. Luckily I had US dollars with me. I would recommend to this place to anyone looking for a luxury home for vacation in CancĂșn. Everything you need for the beach is in the house. Including a coolers and chairs and Umbtrlla. People do live in this complex so partying after 10 PM is not allowed at the pool. Restaurants are a little ways of a drive. All hotels in the area are all inclusive so you can’t eat at the restaurants. All needed items to prepare your own food is provided. Onsite staff were great and friendly. Security onsite is great. Was nice to be able to leave the key with security so you didn’t have to make sure everyone arrived at the same time everyday. I highly recommend the home. Easy to book and the check in and out process was easy as well.

Hi Lance Thank for your comments and I hope you arrived save and happy after your vacations. About the electricity all terms and conditions are in the web site, and are in both sides. One in the description and the other one before your accept to reserve the house is Accept Terms & Conditions, and is the Rental Agreement, you have all details there, so is nothing that wasn't clear. As your experience usually what we cover is OK to have a very relax time in the house with AC, the problem is when some people leave the house all day with windows and doors open and all the AC working for nothing. Lance on the back of the complex, walking only one block are the best restaurants in the hotel zone, you have Puerto Madero, Harry's, Cenacolo, Rolandi, etc.. meat & sea food, pasta, etc... for the other side you have fast food, Mac Donald, Domino's Pizza, etc.. Ok next time for sure you can find all this places, was a pleasure that you enjoyed with us. Best regards Daniel E Laens Owner

It was good but there was one BIG issue
I'll start with the positives, as there were many. Great location with easy access to a small public beach. Property was very secure, felt safe during stay. Complex was mostly quiet, family friendly and pool area was a great place to kill some time with the kids. Property was as expected and everything was mostly in good order. Property managers were nice and readily available but they couldn't assist with the BIG issue. Now, the BIG issue: The entire house seemed to leak when it rained! Just about every window or glass door seemed to allow water into the house. I'm not talking drips of water, I'm taking large pools of water! The rain only lasted about 2 hours (granted, it was coming down pretty hard) but it didn't take long to have huge pools of water throughout the house. We called property managers and they said there was not much they could do. There was no way to stop the leaks so they told us to use the pool towels to soak up the water and keep the water "contained". We did as recommended, expecting that they would replace the towels when they came to do a cleaning, on the next day. When they came for the cleaning, they told us they would not be replacing or even washing the towels. They said they would just hang them out to dry for us. Keep in mind, these towels sat on the floor, soaked in water, for a whole day....this all happened the second day we were there, and we were still going to be there for another 3 days, so we ended up having to wash the towels ourselves. Which, of course, added to the electric bill (that you are on the hook for)...plus, who wants to do laundry on vacation?! Not to mention that certain parts of the house suddenly became off limits. I was told that they would be repairing the leaks once we departed. I would say that, if they did, I would definitely stay there again. It really was a good place with plenty of space for a large group. Internet worked great and the A/C's were super.

I want to be clear about your comments: We are renting this house for many years, we have 5 star reviews, and never had any problem of that things you mentioned. The problem was during your stay in Cancun was 2 days 24 hours raining, like a tropical storm and is not any house or hotel 1 or 5 star quality can't support without any water filtration, for that reason we have special anticyclonic curtains, that we must shut down when the weather is like that. We do apologize for the inconvenience, that is not really under our control although we will definitely check that problem right away! and yes towels should have been replaced or washed by our staff due to that situation, we were out of the country at that time and not aware of that! The beach acces is at 40 steps, is the most close that a house can be if it is not on the beach, and that beach is one of the best ones in Cancun, is the same if you are in the lobby of any hotel and you must to walk to the beach same distance. Never got tv or washer to work. Same for oven. No instructions on use. Communication with spanish only property manager was difficult. Steps in basement dangerous. Need to be marked with red paint. They caused two falls with one trip to hospital for treatment of crushed spinal disk. More information on local restaurants, transportation could be helpful. Most hotel restaurants nearby are all inclusive and not open to public.

Hello I'm very surprise with your comments. Any moment during your stay you mentioned nothing about this. First, All TV are new you have Roku, Netflix and local signal all instructions are in English, not only in the TV you can find the instructions behind the TV. The house has stairs as you an see in the photos, if you had an accident you never told me the house has an insurance for any problem. You have a file in the Living Room area (that we found it in the master suite so you used) and you can find all what you need about the area. Yes all hotels are All Inclusive you can use it but you must to pay the Day Pass, but anyway in front of the house you have the beach access free without payment. For more than 10 years we are renting that house and we have an excellent reputation, and either at the check out you said that was an excellent stay. But ok you will know why you put this comments. Amazing place to stay!
This place is amazing. Very laid back and relaxing location. The best thing is how convenient everything is. Beach is literally minutes away and plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again next time.

Great weekend! Perfect Location, Size, and Clean
We rented two units from Daniel for 10 guys for long weekend. Both units provided more than enough room for 10 guys to move around without being on top of each other all weekend. It was extremely clean and in a great location. Like other reviews stated you are only a few steps from the beach. Let’s not forget about the pool that is right outside the back door. We had an amazing time in the pool one morning by ourselves. After reading some other reviews we decided to hire Maria to cook a few meals for us and we were NOT disappointed. She was able to give me a few ideas of different meal choices and included some traditional dishes that we had not tried. Probably the most important thing next to the food being GREAT is that she cooked more than enough. If you ever had to feed 10 men you know they can eat a lot of food. Let’s just say no one was hungry after those meals. I asked all the guys if they had any negative feedback on the units when we left and no one could think of one negative thing to say. They talked about how they enjoyed all the meals with Maria, location, and how big and clean the houses were. We would definitely recommend these units to anyone staying in Cancun.

Our Stay Was Amazing!
Daniel is a very responsive owner, though he wasn't there at the property, you could easily reach him for any of your needs through phone or email. The property itself is in a very safe gated community with friendly security guarding the gate 24/7. The place was very well maintained and clean and everything was up to date. The beds were also very comfortable to sleep in. Ismael and Maria were so sweet! They came by every few days to clean and check in on us, they also made us breakfast the first morning we were there and it was amazing! The beach was a little less than a 5 minute walk to get to and was so beautiful and clean! There's jet skiing and parasailing that you can do there too! Overall me and my group of 10 had an amazing trip here and we were very pleased with this home that we stayed at! Thank you Daniel!

Great access to the Beach and transportation
The condo is roomy with 4 bedrooms and plenty of room to all gather. The views of the pool are so pleasing and the pool area is cool and quaint. The beach access is just across the street and this is key as the resorts are as large as a city block. The house also has beach chairs, thank you! Security guard at the gate is pleaseant and helpful as is Maria who shows you around. Our family had a great vacation.

An oasis among the action of the zona hotelera
We stayed here for 12 days during Spring Break 2017. It was perfect. We had 4 kids (15,15,13,10) with us for the trip. They loved the freedom of being able to walk to the beach, walk to the convenience store, jump in the pool, play tennis, jump on the bus that would take them up and down the strip for 10.5 pesos one way. It felt very safe. The condo was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated that we did not need to eat out for every meal. We put to use the full kitchen after stocking up at the grocery store, which is a short bus ride/longer walk away from the condo. Maria was our contact for the condo and coordinated the maid service. She did a great job and was very responsive when we has a few questions. I would definitely repeat this condo stay if I had the chance. Thanks Daniel and Maria!

Very nice property, great area and location!
Located right across from Secrets, literally steps outside of the gate and easy access to the beach, walking distance to bus stop and several taxis right outside the gate. My friends and I enjoyed our stay as well as the décor, they commended me on such a great find. Stop at the grocery store and you are all set for a great time. We enjoyed having breakfast on our balcony...it was an awesome girls getaway!!
