Filthy rooms, holes in bed covers, huge body dent in mattress making it the most uncomfy bed I’ve EVER slept in, stains on bedding, grubby bathroom, mouldy pillows, dirty breakfast tables and mats, inattentive staff, location undergoing construction and middle of nowhere, unsafe to walk back after dark. NOT 5* - more like 2*

From day 1 checkin experience was not good. My mom and sister waited for a room as they arrived early. After getting a room they tried to play smart and gave us a room which was not what we booked so we had argued regarding same. After that they gave us the right room which was deluxe room. Moreover after getting in the room, bed sheets were not properly cleaned as there were stain marks which was not appealing to eye. Buffet for breakfast was not at all as per hotel standards, i could see mosquito around some food specifically towards muffins and curries which were kept in earthenware. Menu was not at all as per standard of the hotel. Half of the things in buffet were either cold or were not heated properly. Housekeepers were not aware of the timings of spa when asked. Instead of telling me or acknowledging the question asked this person just passed by while talking on the phone and not answering as i could see he was not aware of their own facilities timing. This was not what i was expecting out of a hotel which is reputed all over the world. But i will not recommend this hotel to anyone i know.

Rooms are at best 2.5 stars, pool is nice but in need of repair. Lots of loose and missing tiles and a return water outlet was missing a safety cover. I leaned on the pool side with my back and got sucked in which left a round bruised mark on my back. Someone with long hair can get seriously injured by the hair get sucked in. Please fix this asap. Lobby was nice and the best part of the hotel. Tv in room was different to use and had only 1 English program working. Overall everything looked dated and in need of some maintenance. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Stuff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled off-season and there weren't many tourists in North Goa. At the same time, the hotel was hosting different events and conferences. As two females travellers, we were uncomfortable around the pool. Lastly, the hotel needs maintenance and deep cleaning.

Not a 5-star rated experience
My recent experience at this hotel has left me quite dissatisfied. Upon checking in to the room, the entire floor was soaked due to an AC technical glitch. The bed itself felt chilly and damp, far from the comfortable setting I had hoped for. The staff informed me that the AC issue was prevalent throughout the property in Goa and urged me to "manage" in the room despite the inconvenience. To make matters worse, I noticed the presence of fungal and mold growth on the curtains and cushions. The cushions were visibly unclean and hadn't been properly washed. Although my family and I made do until the following day, things took a turn for the worse when my mother woke up, only to slip and sustain bruises on her leg. My sister and I also faced several instances of slipping due to the persistently moist floor. As a result, our planned activities were severely hampered, and we ended up spending an inordinate amount of time managing these issues within the confines of our room. The hotel staff about our concerns, they initially dismissed them. Eventually, they relented and asked us to wait several hours for a different room. When we were finally moved, the new room turned out to be smaller than the one I had booked and paid for. Adding to our woes, the door lock in the new room was malfunctioning. Maintenance personnel attempted to repair it while we were inside, which left us deprived of privacy. It's disheartening to think that this hotel holds a purported 5-star rating.

Hotel is located around markets and Candolim beach is at a walking distance under 1km. Property gives a feel of Goan culture and warmth of local taste. I would prefer this hotel for my next trip.

I arrived at 8 pm and my room was not ready. Was given an old room with a broken safe for handicapped person which I'm not. The place is old and doors and walls are paper thin so you can here every person outside, above and to the side of the room. Very poor choice on my part and would not recommend this place at all
