Blokhut-uniek / mooi



Heb je niet altijd in een echte blokhut willen blijven? Dat kan nu wanneer u deze prachtige blokhut huurt die op 300 hectare spectaculaire glooiende heuvels ligt. De blokhut heet 'The Pine Lodge' en heeft alle voorzieningen die u nodig heeft. Ontspan en geniet van de rustige omgeving en toch dicht bij de opwinding van nabijgelegen attracties.
Er is een grote woonkamer en eetkamer met kathedraalplafonds, hardhouten vloeren en plafondventilatoren. Nieuw geïnstalleerde WI-FI (internettoegang). Er is een nieuwe grote 50 inch flatscreen HD-tv met DirecTV satelliet, HBO en nog veel meer kanalen. Er is een gezellige gashaard. De keuken is volledig uitgerust en heeft een gasfornuis op een groot eiland. Alle handdoeken en beddengoed zijn aanwezig, strijkijzer en strijkplank en een föhn.


Gebruik de wijnglazen en alle borden, potten, pannen en bestek.
De 1e verdieping heeft een slaapkamer met een queensize bed. Er is een complete badkamer op de 1e verdieping. De slaapkamer op de 2e verdieping heeft 2 aparte bedden die kunnen worden opgezet als een kingsize bed (GELIEVE TE WETEN WELKE U DE VOORKEUR HEEFT) De slaapkamer op de vliering (een favoriet bij de kinderen) heeft 4 eenpersoonsbedden en een balkon met uitzicht op de woon / eetkamer . Er is ook een badkamer op de tweede verdieping.

Great cabin just far enough away from civilization

We stayed for a weekend to attend Binghamton graduation. Cabin is rustic but very comfortable and not too far from towns. Antlers and deer trophies on wall in great room give it a country vibe. Plenty of kitchen supplies and beds were comfortable.

Great cabin

Perfect cabin close to a bunch of New Yorks state parks, very clean with a nice large kitchen tons of room for my my eife and I and our 3 kids, the single beds are all in an open loft which just meant we had to keep it quiet once the kids went to bed. Our only complaint were the king and queen beds squeak a lot, like just rolling around in your sleep they are noisy. So if we stayed more then 2 nights I could see that being an issue but otherwise we’d live to go back for another weekend and do more exploring

Quite stay

Nice cabin, quiet location. Beds are firm but comfortable and all necessities provided. House is creaky and if you stay in the lower bedroom you hear every sound from the loft. Not unbearable but if you are a light sleeper not ideal. Water did have a sulfur smell to it but it was explained in the house info book. Communication with host was great.

Unusual and somewhat disturbing written host communications, but log cabin was lovely.

No washer and dryer as stated in description. Host stayed she left a pocketbook while making beds. There was no pocketbook in the house. Host paperwork on premises states we must clean and she must come over and check property 15 minutes before we leave premises. It was inconvenient firstly, and secondly, she did not show up. Other than that, the house was spacious and comfortable.

Wonderful private get away!

My husband and I got away for the weekend and enjoyed our stay immensely. The home is in a quiet area, but not too far from civilization. The home is exactly as advertised. The bed was comfortable, and we loved all the windows. The kitchen has everything you need. Communication with the owners was easy and friendly. We highly recommend!

Nice quiet place to stay, easy access to Ithaca and Tioga Casino and Corinth. Betsy and Alan are great hosts, if you want to be off the beaten path but close access to Ithaca (20 min), this is it.

Perfect for what we needed!

This cabin was perfect for visiting my daughter in nearby Candor. It was super neat and clean, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and there was a great supply of fresh linens and towels. Comfortable bed, and very cozy atmosphere. We loved the quiet and seclusion, saw lots of wildlife...deer, turkeys, rabbits. Very clear and easy to follow directions and instructions, and Betsy was easy to communicate with. We will definitely be staying at The Pine Lodge on our next visit.

Great location and great hosts

Perfect place for a friend getaway. Close to Ithaca for hikes and restaurants. Alan and Betsy were great and Alan even dropped off some fresh zucchini and cucumbers for us one morning. Plenty of space and stocked with all the appliances and utensils you need! Will definitely be going back.

Lovely log cabin stay

We had an excellent stay at the log cabin. It is in a remote location so you get to immerse yourself in nature but still be within a reasonable driving distance to shops, restaurants, gas stations, and state parks. The cabin was very clean and the owners are very nice, attentive, and well organized - even leaving helpful notes, brochures of things to do in the area, and labeling wall switches which was appreciated. There were a lot of comfortable beds for us to sleep on and plenty of towels for a family of five. It also had internet service which was important for my teen daughters. We enjoyed staying here and would consider booking again in the future.

Bachelor Party/ Fathers Day Fishing Trip

Betsy and Alan are great people to rent from. The property was perfect for what we wanted. The cabin is an outdoorsman’s dream. Everything needed was provided. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for all of us. Out group has discussed coming here annually because of the beauty of the cabin and proximity to the lakes and wineries. Thank you again for hosting us. Great place to stay!
