Het hotel is strak gemoderniseerd,mooi, wij vinden het een beetje erg "zakelijk" overkomen het is een rustig hotel, zeer prettig, maar de sfeer is niet echt gezellig. Vonden wij een beetje jammer. Wel een goed hotel en het aanraden waard

Hotel was amazing. Didn’t realise in advance it would cost between £40-£60pp to enjoy the private beach, but beach was one the best we have been to. Hotel recommended great places to eat and celebrated our special occasions well. Restaurant was lovely with great, diverse selection of food. Staff were really friendly and made our stay special. The Mondrian was very comfortable and clean. The room was cleaned every day, and staff accommodated every request. The hotel is in a prime location for beach clubs, restaurants, and both luxury and ordinary shopping. I highly recommend staying here!

The Mondrian, had us booked for a room with a sofa bed. And when we arrived they put us in smaller room. When I showed our receipt and the fact I paid around 200 more a night for a room that fit us all they said the hotel was full and couldn’t not honor the room I had paid for and offered nothing to remedy the problem. The rooms don’t have showers - just a bathtub and a shower handle. That didn’t work. It was a distasteful stay. The staff was horrible. All in all it was a terrible experience - it was way better managed as the Grand hotel. We switched hotels to the JW marriot next door and it was 10000000 times better experience.

If they give you room 113 run!
If they give you room 113 run! The room even though it has a beautiful view from the terrace it has many defects. First the shower is handheld as there is no mount or bracket for the shower head, so you’re forced to hold the shower head in your hand during the entire shower experience. Great engineering!!! After that you will then experience that there is no hot water in the shower. So once you’re had this great shower you will then be ready for a long and deep sleep. This is however not possible since the Aircon sounds like there is an old tractor inside the unit.. Last once you wake up and go down to their private beach you’ll notice that they have build a huge trench effectively blocking the view to the sea, besides that what they claim is included in the hotel amenities is in fact not included and you’ll be charged over 100 euros for a lounger on the beach. I had notified the staff in the reception countless times for these issues, but they could not do anything, the maintenance guy never showed up either even though he was called upon many times they claim. I was supposed to sleep there 3 nights, but after 2 I had to change hotel. A sweet lady in the reception however compensated me the fee for the lounge bed on the beach to try to amend the situation.

At breakfast, they gave me pastries that were previously picked on by 5 pigeons. I asked for new ones as these pastries were o. Another table and the pigeons were eating them. The waiter picked them up from the floor and then , after acting like he was going to throw them out, he put them on my table. After I let the front desk know, they said sorry and that it. Unbelievable that a 5 star hotel would do that. I always stay at the Marinez except this time

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was amazing. The rooms are a bit dated but have a retro feel back to the jet set era. Great value for the price.
