Great getaway
Our family of 6 enjoyed this quaint getaway. The bunkhouse was cozy and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The host thought of everything: fresh cookies, extra blankets and towels, plenty of dishes and entertainment for the kids. The best addition was the welcome packet that included restaurant suggestions and all the local places to explore. We would not have known about the slot canyon hike in Willis Creek if it weren't for the info provided by host. It turned out to be the best part of our trip! Thank you!

Cute place 20 min from Bryce Canyon
Lovely place to stay while visiting Bryce Canyon NP. Better value than staying right outside the park, but it’s a 20 minute drive. It was worth it to us. Recommend it to any groups 4 or less. Has a nice kitchenette, beds are comfortable, and bathroom is clean.

Wonderful and Charming Bunkhouse!
My daughters and I had such a great time staying at this property! We were greeted with delicious freshly baked Oatmeal cookies which was a fun surprise and the hosts are delightful. Extremely kind and friendly and very helpful in planning out hikes within Bryce Canyon and nearby. We went to Kodochrome State Park for the afternoon which is extremely close by and was a great time! Location is perfect for Bryce Canyon and the night sky from the bunkhouse was terrific as well! Highly recommend!

Lovely, roomy, clean
The location was great, quiet and away from the bustle of Bryce Canyon city but close enough to the park entrance. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the accommodations and liked having a little kitchen. The rooms were clean and cute. It was a lovely stay and we’ll definitely book next time we’re in the area! It was a great deal considering hotel rooms are as much or more per night.

Perfect for our Bryce Canyon visit
Perfect location and space for us and our teenage boys during our visit to Bryce Canyon. The house was clean, smelled nice and had comfortable beds. The food options in this area are very limited. We did try IDKBarbeque and loved it. Our only issue was that our GPS maps wouldn’t pull up the address. I ended up using the address for the Grand Staircase Inn and found it that way.

A great place to relax and explore one of the most beautiful places on earth
The bunkhouse is cozy- great location. There were just 2 of us, and it was good. Even though there are beds for 6 -2 double beds and 2 bunkbeds -it would be a bit tight. The kitchen is just fine (we ate in all the time). The bathroom is beautiful ! I wonder if Cherie (a great host) might consider a sofa bed in the living area, instead of a queen size bed? There would be a place to sit and watch TV, or read a bit comfortably. But all in all -it was just great !

Country bunkhouse stay
Really great stay at Cherie's little rental Perfect for 2 people or great for 2 adults and 2 kids. There's bedding for 6 technically, just not sure how that would work overall since there's no couch or anything in the main area. But honestly, you're there for access to Bryce and the surrounding beauty so after a long day of adventure it should be a shower (or a hot bath in that GREAT tub!), food and then rest. The BEST homemade oatmeal cookies myself or my partner ever had we're waiting for us on the table when we got there. There's a small but efficient kitchen, comfortable bed, and a spotless bathroom. It's everything we needed for our 2 perfect days in the park. Would certainly rent again if we ever went back!

This place is a wonderful oasis to most likely generic hotels nearby. It has a homey feel, with homemade cookies upon arrival and all. Not far from Bryce Canyon and other hiking sites nearby. Beautiful quilts on the beds, a few necessities for the small kitchen in the unit, and a big bathroom with plenty of towels. Comfortable beds as well. Would stay here again if in the area.

D'un premier abord, l'environnement nous est apparu plutôt inquiétant. Toutefois, nous avons été charmé par ce très joli bungalow champêtre, tranquille, confortable, très propre, bien aménagé et pourvu de tout le nécessaire. Un petit bijou. Nous nous y sommes sentis en sécurité. Aucun restaurant, aucune épicerie à Cannonville. On doit se rendre à Tropic à un peu plus de 5 minutes en voiture où l'épicerie est aussi très limitée.

Amazing stay
I would give this wonderful gem and it’s owner 10 stars! I brought my friend for her 50th birthday and we arrived to cookies, balloons, a sign and birthday music. It could not have been more perfect! The rooms were immaculate and the kitchen/bathroom is well stocked. Neighborhood is quiet and star gazing was breathtaking from the yard. Perfect for Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome basin and Escalante.

Delightful Bungalow
Perfect for 2 people with a basic studio kitchen for casual dining in. Clean and tastefully decorated. Well laid out, cozy but not cluttered. Very clean. Nice yard (too bad it rained 4 of the 5 days we were there!) Quiet residential neighborhood. Not super close to Bryce NP, but not real far either. If it were closer then you'd be crowded or noisy.

Perfect escape!
We had a wonderful time at The Bunhouse! The place was just what we needed, on our busy roadtrip. Very comfy beds, Well equipped kitchen, the decor of the house was super cute, and made it feel very homey! The drive to Bryce was about 20 minutes, but if you are looking for a less touristy place to stay, this is the place!

Cute little cottage!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Country Bunkhouse. The cottage was cute and my kids loved that there were TVs in every room. Cherie was so sweet and noticed my kids running around the backyard playing tag, so she brought cornhole out for us to use. Highly recommend. Our 5-adult family was incredibly pleased with this choice. It's a small space for 5 adults (that's on us), but the location was absolutely perfect for our travel to Bryce and Kodachrome. Quiet retreat from the touristy areas nearby
The country bunkhouse was the perfect place for us to spend two nights to visit Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks. While Bryce Canyon City has lodging and restaurants, we enjoyed spending evenings and mornings in a quiet, smaller Utah town. The bunkhouse is cozy, but has everything that you need to make your own simple meals. While we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Cherie in person, all communication with her was prompt and pleasant. We would definitely stay again if we decided to return to this part of Utah. Thanks!

Perfect base and space for Bryce and beyond!
The bunkhouse was a perfect little home for our five days in the area. A short drive to Bryce for hikes and sunset and an even shorter drive to Kodachrome Basin state park which is also wonderful for hiking. An outing to escalante petrified forest state park was easy and totally worthwhile, with an extra little drive east on scenic 12, and the best little Mexican food truck (Georgie’s). We loved hiking during the day and making dinner, relaxing, playing games, and watching Tv in the quiet evenings. Cherie and Bill are wonderful hosts, concerned about making sure our stay was great, loaned a snow brush (!), and brushed off our car!! I highly recommend this cottage and these wonderful hosts!

This cottage is set up like a mother-in-law housing unit on the property of a single-family home; however, you will not be bothered by the occupants, and they take very good care of their cottage, and we enjoyed the little surprises we found throughout the unit that made our stay so easy and special. Perfect home away from home
This couldn’t have been a better experience. Communication with the host was straightforward. I absolutely adored the bunkhouse and the small town so much I didn’t want to leave. It is very apparent that the owners have gone to great lengths to make guests feel at home in the bunkhouse. The decor was inviting, beds and bedding were cozy, and the amenities in the small kitchen were perfect for being able to eat in or pack food for daytime adventures. The homemade cookies were delicious and made us feel welcomed. We will definitely stay at the bunkhouse the next time we visit the area.
