'This cottage is located in a beautiful area with lots of hiking/ walking possibilities. kids could play nearby the river Esk or surrouding streams and forrest. The cottage also have a very nice garden with a possibility to BBQ or sit. There is nothing what we misses in this cottage, nice beds, very quiet area, really good equipped kitchen, lots of towels. 'The location is excellent, close to the city center. The parking opportunities are limited, fortunately unloading and loading is possible in the street of the location. The apartment is well equipped and sizable. However, the windows pf apartment 3 are facing an inner court with a venting system of a restaurant. It produces strong kitchen smells during most of the day. It should be discussed with the owner how to reduce the smells (with scrubs, perhaps).'

'This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend.'

'We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. '

'Lovely location and awesome views. Property was very comfortable and cosy. We're allergic to feathers so Sue made sure there were no issues. She took great care to think of our wellbeing. We are an older couple so comfort and ease of getting around the flat are important to us. The flat was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Thanks fir a lovely stay.'
