Fijn basic hostel op loopafstand centrum
Jeugdherberg in mooi oud pand met veel 40+ gasten, veel nationaliteiten, heel goede sfeer, aardig personeel, bedden goed, maar kort(!) , alles oogt schoon, familiekamer op bg met 2 stapelbedden is best propvol, maar lounge+ eetkamer+centrale keuken is prima. Ontbijt is gevarieerd en lekker. 1 echt nadeel: heel veel lawaai van passerend verkeer. S nachts gelukkig minder. Zou zo weer boeken voor 1 nacht.

Pied à terre économique à Canterbury
Si la formule est comparable au YHA, le bâtiment ici n'est pas récent et quelques rénovations restent à faire (fenêtres, peinture, moquette...). Le lieu reste cependant une bonne alternative en terme de prix pour un séjour court. S'agissant de la propreté, un plus au niveau de la salle de restaurant serait apprécié (vaisselle, poussière, meuble de déserte...) et de la cuisine commune (à partager avec les hôtes qui sont pas raisonnables...). Centre ville proche, tout comme la route bien fréquentée.

Parents visiting their Uni child
We stayed in their garden log cabins as they had en-suite facilities. The cabins were just great for our purposes and very private.

Generally very good. Breakfast could be challenging, lack of room, long queues as a large party of kids there. Front room a bit noisy as near main road; but nothing to be done about that!

Basic accommodation and a Warm welcome.
I had a very warm, quick and efficient check in. The room was very clean, with a lovely thick duvet. The hostel has a really lovely atmosphere and the building has many original features and a lot of character, which I like. This is a hostel, so I wouldn't expect the same facilities as a hotel, so no kettle in room etc, however I paid less too. There is no chair in the room, however it was really comfortable to sit and read on the bed. I was able to leave my car in the car park during the day which was really helpful as I was meeting someone in Canterbury that day and parking would have been an additional hassle and expense. The only issue really was the room was cold. This was originally because the windows were open for covid reasons, however the room didn't heat up much during my stay once the windows were closed. Happy with my stay though.

In light of your comments I have adjusted the heating programme - it has been a tricky time to judge not too hot/cold at this time of year but hopefully this will help our next guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was clean. Great location. The negative was the room was very small and no on-site parking as limited spaces.

Pas de chance pour nous , nous avons eu la chambre au sous sol près de la chaufferie et des commodités. Dommage, car l'auberge est plutôt bien et pas trop loin du centre ville. Le personnel d'accueil fait le strict minimum. Toujours des difficultés pour trouver une place de parking gratiute.

Good morning, Sorry you did not enjoy the room on this occasion, our reception team are here to help up to 11pm but cannot change rooms when we are fully booked. CanterburyEast駅から歩いて15分程度のYHAホステル。他のイギリス内YHAと同様に設備は綺麗で、キッチンも広い。セルフケータリング以外の夕食のオプションはピザ(9£前後)のみだが、飲み物やスナックはレセプションで買うことができる。車通りの多い道沿いに位置しているため、通行音がするのが惜しい所。庭にはコテージ風の施設があり、そこでも宿泊することができる。

Comfortable stay
The youth hostel is very helpful and polite. The female dorm room I stayed in was clean, comfortable beds and spacious. The kitchen is bit small but there plenty of space to make your food. If you don't want to be stuck in your room, the lounge is good for relaxing in the evening.

Thank you for your feedback. We are aware the weather has been extremely warm so fans have been made available to rent from reception over the last few weeks so I apologize if this wasn't clear. We have also been advising guests to keep curtains drawn & windows closed to try and keep the rooms as cool as possible. Good value of budget!
Staff very friendly but sometimes no tissue in toilet. Sometimes heater doesn’t work in night so it’s kinda cold in night but overall it’s alright.

Best hostel I have ever been to.
Hostel is located close to the main city centre. I would say 10-15 min walk. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfy. There was free WiFi. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Limited parking but I managed to get a parking space. Overall, a great experience. All that for the price was unreal.

A soli 15' a piedi dal centro di Canterbury lungo uno strada alberata. In mezzo ad altre costruzioni nello stesso stile fra cui alberghi e dimore private. Consigliato.
