Beautiful Cozy Cabin
My wife and I enjoyed staying in this beautiful cabin. Extremely well kept up and clean. Will definitely be renting again when revisiting this area.

Great location, clean cabin
Very clean country cabin. Very close to Lake Logan, we were there for the Tri. Easy to find, easy to get in and out, full kitchen and well appointed, nothing missing, Wi-Fi great. Quiet and peaceful.

Exceed All Expectations!
This is the cleanest rental property I have ever seen in my life...period. So that made a very positive impression on my wife and I. The layout of the cabin is roomy yet cozy for couples and had everything we needed for our 1 week stay. We loved the proximity to various hiking trails in the area and the fact it was away from any downtown areas. We were still a short drive to Waynesville and Canton if we needed anything. Waynesville is the more attractive town in our opinion. We will absolutely stay here again and often!

Mountain getaway
This was our second time staying at this property. The space is perfect for our family of 3. Jim the owner kept the firewood full and we enjoyed an outdoor campfire in the fire pit as well as many indoors. The cabin was close to many scenic little towns and hiking locations.

Perfect romantic get away
We loved the cabin, the area and the host. Jimmy was the perfect host. Be sure to buy some Lilly’s from Mr Warren across the street. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice, quiet, and clean.
Loved the cabin and the quiet in the mountains. You can hear the river across the road all night with the windows open. The decor might not be for everybody but that's evident from the photos. My schedule got screwed up and I ended up checking in late and leaving in a rush. Host was super understanding. Sorry about leaving the leftover salad in the fridge!

Awesome Place and Host
The cabin is exactly as described and was immaculate. The location is perfect to get to various cities (Waynesville, Bryson, etc.) however far enough out to get the mountain isolation. Jim is an excellent host and makes sure his guests needs are met. Can’t speak any more highly of the place. One of the best VRBOs we have stayed at.

You won't want to leave
We had the best time here, I could not have been more pleased with jim, our host, he has literally thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable .. and is very responsive in a timely manner if you have questions... I will definitely be back for a other visit,and Walter, the neighbor with his Lilly garden across the street is an added bonus...can't wait to come back, never wanted to leave..

Disconnect to Reconnect
My husband and I decided to get away to the mountains for our anniversary. So glad we did! The directions took us past the property but I recognized the cabins from the photos. As soon as we got inside, I knew we’d made the right decision. The cabin was immaculate! There was no phone service or TV the first night, but that was the whole intent of our stay! The owner of the cabin, Jim, was very hospitable and what we loved the most was his love for the Lord! Every conversation we had, was just like talking to an old friend. We made a connection and will definitely visit again!

Great weekend getaway.
My wife and I both needed to unplug from work and only way to do that was where there was no phone service. We considered that a blessing and probably only way we both were able to stay away from work. Host was great and had everything we could ask for/expected! Definitely would recommend!

Review
Listing should clearly say there is no cell service at property and satellite TV does not work. Overall these aren't huge issues but one needs to be prepared. You will have to travel a few miles down the road to get cell service. Owner is very attentive and responsive. House layout is a little odd. Only one bathroom upstairs and if multiple parties this could be an issue. Wonder neighbor, Walter, next door. Great selection of daylilies for sale.

Internet and cellphone services are completely out of our control. 40% of the county does not have high speed internet as most is very rural. We are in the process of upgrading our satellite equipment with our current provider. Some of the problems are tree related, looking at other options, thanks for staying with us.

Cozy Cabin
The property was very clean and well kept. The owner Jim exceeded both of our expectations and was very accommodating to our every need. The location is very close by to many of the attractions you might want travel to. We loved listening to the creek across from the property as it was very relaxing and soothing. My wife and I had a wonderful time and plan on returning in the future.

An Unplugged Getaway
I wanted to get away, de-plug and relax. This little cabin was absolutely perfect!! There is no wi-fi, no interent service and no cell phone service!! I spent the weekend resting, relaxing, enjoying the front porch and the lovely view and the sound of the river across the road. I drove the Blue Parkway and went waterfall hunting. The spa bathtub in the Master Bedroom was also divine for this type of relaxing getaway. Jim, the owner was ALWAYS available. He even brought over a load of wood (and started) for a bonfire on 2 of the nights that I was there. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to de-plug. I did drive about 10 minutes, to a gas station, where I could get cell service and just take care of emergencies!!

Very clean cozy Cabin, the host is a very helpful person. however, the single bathroom is very tight and there is no WIFI or cell service. The hot tub is a big feature however the water heater is too small to fill it with hot water. Other than that. it's a very nice cabin

We had great time !
Cabin was exactly what we expected . There was little hick up with no toilet paper at time of arriving but we were able get some from near by store . Location is good for all kind of outdoor activities . We also spend nice evening time around fire place which wood was provided for . It was great . Thank you

We had planned (and put money down to reserve) a romantic weekend in a cabin in Gatlinburg. We arrived there on Thursday evening, paid the remaining amount due and was very disappointed in the accommodations. (It was dirty and ill-equipped.) We got a partial refund ... I was so happy to find this beautiful property available to save the rest of our weekend. Secluded and peaceful, it's kept up very well, extremely clean!! Jim was so sweet, making sure we had everything we needed, kept the firewood stocked and ready to use! Highly recommended!

Beautiful cabin, REALLY well taken care of and clean. Jim is an awesome caretaker and a great guy. If you really want to disconnect and get off the grid this is the place. No cell service, internet or TV. It was what we needed.

Exactly what we needed!!!
This cabin was secluded enough for a relaxing weekend be also close enough to Waynesville for shopping and great food. I loved the fact that once we turned on the road for the cabin we lost cell phone service. There is a land line to use in the cabin but it was great to not have a cell phone.

Delightful place for an escape!
My wife, our 5 month old, and myself wanted to get out of town and head to the mountains. We loved this beautifully crafted and comfortable home away from home. It was great having a kitchen to cook some of our own meals. The sound of the nearby stream was relaxing so we never turned the tv on. Our little guy's favorite part of the cabin were the ceiling fans and the big tub for bathing! We liked being close to Asheville, Waynesville (nice shops!), and the Blue Ridge Parkway when we wanted to get out and explore. Jim was the kindest host! He came by each day to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. We hated that we had to leave and look forward to coming back!

Beautiful Cozy Cabin
We just ended our stay October 27, 2016 and was very pleased with this property. It was exactly as featured; immaculate, cozy and comfortable and all that we expected. A fireplace is a must in cool weather and Jimmy kept the firewood coming as we required. The owners are great hosts and took care to answer all our needs. The countrysides were beautiful, parkway not too far away and Waynesville is a delightful town to explore. This is the perfect cabin for a couple to share. Joyce and Carl, Melbourne FL
