'We chose Richard's place both for the location and number of bedrooms. There was plenty of room for our large group with two bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. There are two hang out areas inside which are open to one another but far enough apart to hold seperate conversations. It is minutes from the San Mateo Bridge leading west and freeways leading east. We were just over half an hour away from South San Francisco, Half Moon Bay and the Tri-Valley, all of which were destinations...

'I enjoyed my stay -- the owner was communicative and flexible and it is clear they have thought of all the little things that folks might want for their stay. This spot is especially good for folks who need to work on the road. I particularly enjoyed having the extra monitor. This is an older house and comes with the charms of an older house, which I prefer over a chain hotel any day. '

'If you are looking for a place to stay for a couple nights on a budget with nearby public transportation, I recommend this place. I will say that having more than 3 guests can feel really tight, but it wasn’t unbearable. I was adventuring primarily in the city most of the day and came back to sleep and it served its purpose. There are many concerns about the neighborhood online and by family living in the city, but I didn’t feel unsafe. I never stayed out past dark hours for extra precaution....

'I stayed here for a week to visit my brother. It was perfect walking distance and i did a lot more walking in San Francisco than i do at home! I wasn't at the hotel much during the day but it was quiet at night and i slept good! I had a small fan because I'm hot natured and that helped. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again. Thank you!'
