'This was our second visit at the Virginia and yet again , we loved it! Friendly and attentive staff, great service, lovely ambiance and great amenities. We love the complimentary breakfast out on the porch and the ability to use the pool at The Congress Hall. Looking forward to our next trip back!'

'Staff is terrific; very helpful! They offer a shuttle (for most of the day) that can take you anywhere on the island. Pool is small, but we spent most of our time on the beach so didn’t matter to us. They also offer a service to have chairs and umbrellas brought to the beach for you and they set them up and take them back at the end of the day as well. Really great service!'

'My first time here and I do not regret it! It was an amazing property, super clean, staff was so nice, and they set up so nicely in the home that I never had to call housekeeping or front desk once! Every house on the property had its own grill and little backyard and everything you would need for the beach, which is right across the street; they had umbrellas, beach chairs, everything!!. 'This is going to sound like a fake review, but it’s not. The owners were phenomenal, so helpful and friendly, and they provided anything you needed for the beach. The seating areas in the courtyard were cozy and welcoming yet were separated so all guests felt like they had their own area. The hotel was immaculate and excellent location to the beach and boardwalk, we can’t wait to go back.'
'This place is great. The room was very clean and recently updated. My only complaints would be that the water pressure in the shower was a bit low and the A/C temperature wouldn't go below 70. Most days the thermostat would automatically bump the temp up to 85 midday. There is nothing worse than coming back from a day in the hot sun to a warm room in the middle of the summer. But other than that, this is a great place to stay.'
'My family and I stayed at the island breeze motel over 4th of july weekend. The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable we stayed here mostly because we needed a place that would accept our dog, this motel was great for that because it was located just a short walk from the dog beach and close to the boardwalk. I would recommend this place for a short stay. '
