Geniet van een wekelijkse of tweewekelijkse verhuur in deze 2e en 3e verdieping appartement - een week is niet genoeg! Boek snel, er zijn weinig resterende weken in het seizoen 2018. We nemen nu boekingen voor het seizoen 2019. Reserveer nu uw vakantie.
*** UPDATE - onze keuken is gerenoveerd met alle nieuwe roestvrijstalen apparaten, kwarts werkbladen en prachtige nieuwe kasten.
U vroeg naar wasmachine en droger en we hebben beide voor uw gemak toegevoegd!

Ons huis is een korte wandeling naar het strand, en u kunt een wandeling naar de promenade of Washington Street Mall.
Cape May is een ideale plek om te fietsen. Brengen jou en rijden naar Sunset Beach of over de stad. Vogels kijken bij Cape May Point State Park, een paradijs voor vogelaar's op elk moment van het jaar.
Ons huis werd gebouwd in de Frog Hollow wijk van Cape May door Jeremiah Mecray in 1907 en is sinds 1968 in ons bezit. Recente upgrades zijn onder andere nieuwe keuken, AC / warmte-eenheden, wasmachine / droger, pas geverfde kamers en exterieur, nieuwe ramen en herbouwde buitendouche met kleedruimte.
Dit rustgevende, comfortabele appartement heeft vier slaapkamers, twee op de 2e verdieping en twee op de 3e verdieping, dat maximaal acht gasten, twee volledige badkamers, complete keuken / eetkamer, woonkamer met flatscreen TV, DVD / VCR, kabel, en gratis WiFi. Een houtskool grill is beschikbaar voor gebruik in de tuin. We hebben waslijnen om uw strandlakens op te hangen en te parkeren op de oprit of gratis parkeren op straat. Ingang van het appartement is door een particuliere kant trap.
Onze familie deelt het Cape May-vakantiehuis al 50 jaar met verhuurders en er is alles aan gedaan om het comfort van onze gasten te vergroten.

Great location and wonderful home.

Although there were a bunch of steps it wasn’t hard to navigate at all. We were comfortable and had plenty of space. Excellent location and so close to the beach! The owner and his daughter could not have been nicer! Would definitely stay here again.

It was a great house and location to the beach and mall. Very clean and the hosts are very nice/accommodating! The only thing was that we wished the kitchen table was bigger and updated for everyone to be able to sit together. Otherwise it was a fabulous week and plenty of space for everyone!

Great visit!!

We had a wonderful time in this comfortable Cape May home. Location could not have been better-easy walk to beach and shopping area through a lovely residential neighborhood. It had everything needed for our family-beach chairs, well stocked cozy kitchen, beautiful patio, comfy bedrooms. The hosts were quick to communicate any time we had a question and were a pleasure to work with. Lots of stairs-so may not be appropriate for everyone.

We had the most wonderful week in this rental. The AC is amazing and kept the entire unit crisp and cool during the heat wave. Very clean, very responsive and kind hosts. Steps up to the unit are not as bad as some reviews state in my opinion, even for my older mother with knee problems. Perfect location close to the beach and town center. Beautiful outside area and a lot of parking! Thanks for a great week!

A Positive Historic Frog Hollow Vrbo Stay

This was our first Vrbo stay with family and everything worked out just fine. The house is very charming and we had plenty of room for all eight of us. The listing is accurate - there is a climb to get into the apartment, so you will get your steps in for the day when loading in and out. The kitchen/dining space was a bit tight when we all sat down to eat, but we cooperated and worked around that one item. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and the proximity to the beach was great (and it was a flat walk, only 3 blocks). About 5-6 blocks from the Washington Mall. We would recommend others consider this gem in our favorite vacation city.

We had a great family vacation at the property which was central to everything. As advertised, it is on the upper floors, so keep that in mind. a lot of stairs packing/unpacking the car if you have little kids that can't help much.

Well maintained home on quiet street

The entire process from start to finish was smooth, even received a couple of hand written notes from the property owner Wes which was very nice! The house was very clean and well-maintained. It’s 25 steps up from the street to the second floor so anybody with mobility issues may have a problem. Wes and Linda were on site most of the time and were friendly and accessible. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the basement although it’s a little tight getting down into the basement because you have to duck underneath steps and a low doorway but that’s probably not unusual for a home that’s 100 years old. The kitchen is well equipped and we found everything to be in working order throughout all the rooms. It’s about a three block walk to the beach and to the Washington St. Mall. The location is very quiet. There was always ample offstreet parking if you have multiple vehicles. The outdoor shower was certainly a nice feature for after the beach although it is a little tight.

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had a little trouble with the AC when we first arrived, but figured out the issue and had no problems the rest of the week. The owner was very responsive. The place was very clean and the kitchen was absolutely beautiful and certainly suited our needs. We realized a gas grill might have been more efficient than the charcoal grill and an area to sit and eat outside would have been nice, but other than that, we had a really wonderful experience and would definitely consider coming back!!

819 Benton is a great location for a Cape May vacation! The beach, strolling along Washington Steet Mall, restaurants, historic spots, bike rentals, ice cream, even the Acme supermarket are only a few minutes walk away. The house is a perfect blend of modern beach house and cool Cape May! We had a great week!

The rental process and communication was easy. Only issues were minor....the saloon style doors in the upstairs bedrooms didn't leave for much privacy. The tub in the upstairs bathroom drained very slowly. Overall though, we enjoyed the stay, location, and house. We'd rent from there again.

Great house for family stay

My extended family and I stayed at this property this summer. The house was great and overall clean and enjoyable. It was in the perfect location to walk many places in Cape May including the beach and outdoor mall. We were able to use the charcoal grill and had access to the basement to store all our beach gear. The one thing lacking was I wish there was a porch or outdoor seating areas for the evening after a day out. There is also only room to seat 6 adults in the kitchen even though the house sleeps 8. We made do though and would absolutely consider staying again.
