Cleaning came at 11:45 AM, sending me scrambling to vacate the room because my phone wasn't handy to check the time. They didn't ask I vacate right (it's Ok, we will come later) then but I got the message. '

'The area is very peaceful and quiet. The staff is very helpful, helped us find a couple things locally as needed, however, we stayed 10 days and they only cleaned once. The toilet is leaking and the wall leaked when it rained. I extended my stay and they wanted cash not for me to use credit card.. '

'Appartementen zijn wat vergane glorie: ouderwetse inrichting en matig onderhoud. Wel steunen voor gordijnen, maar geen gordijnen, veel kleine beschadigingen. Bed voelt doorgelegen, gaatjes in de lakens. Naar de mensen zijn vriendelijk, het zwembad heerlijk en het eten ook!'

'It was a nice and quiet location at Serrekunda. But in my first night some people held a wedding banquet downstairs, with loud music until midnight. The room was huge with super big balcony and unbeatable sea view. The restaurant served good food and I had all my breakfast, lunch and dinner there. But I needed to pay for the meals in cash in local currency, unless I could work out how to use the local mobile phone payment app, which I could not. I loved the direct access to the beach. But...

'Awesome property! Beautiful grounds. Staff is excellent, courteous and helpful. Onsite owners are a breath of fresh air. Food is high quality and delicious. Have stayed 2 years in a row and will return. The rooms are large and accommodating with private balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool and striking green scenery. I found nothing I wanted or needed that wasn’t there. Outstanding!'
