In één woord: GEWELDIG!
Een absolute aanrader. Wij hadden een privé appartement op een andere locatie. 100 meter lopen van de hoofdstraat van Franschhoek. Een super mooi appartement. Ontbijt hadden wij op de hoofdlocatie. De eigenaresse Michaele is super aardig en behulpzaam. Kwam ons zelfs nog stookhout brengen voor de open haard.

We stayed in the Luxury Suite - the description on their webpage about this room is not accurate. The "small additional room" is not a room as it does not have a door or other means of closing off this space to the main room, which was a great disappointment to us. The staff on site (the manager was not available) tried to help but their solutions were far from good (sheets hung up with blu tack that fell down in the middle of the night...). Also, the ancient fridge made so much noise that we had to turn it off to be able to sleep, the spots in the room again buzzing like crazy. Also, please take out the cleaning equipment from the pool when in use, it's not nice swimming amongst hoses and pumps. Otherwise a nice place but unfortunately fell short on points to make us feel that it was worth the money.

Mooie locatie met een grote kamer dichtbij de hoofdstraat (wijntram). Het ontbijt was ook om je vingers bij op te eten! Ik zou deze locatie zeker aanraden bij vrienden en familie

Wonderful B&B in gorgeous Franschoek. Staff were very courteous and kind. Room was spacious, clean, well-maintained. Breakfast is excellent, including hot food (eggs prepared to order), pastries and fresh fruit juices. Location is a short walk from Franschoek’s main street, which features many galleries, stores and restaurants. Parking on-site within the gated compound.

Excellent staff. Allowed us to park early morning on our arrival without any problems. Also allowed us to check in at 10.00 so we didn't have to rush back. Lovely comfortable room with great breakfast

We spent 2 nights. The service was very good as was the breakfast and coffee. The rooms were comfortable. The pool and surroundings needed a little loving though. The location was only a few blocks from the main road with galleries and restaurants. An overall lovely experience.

Wunderschönes Guesthouse mit bestem Frühstück!
Wunderschönes Guesthouse in guter Lage. Das Frühstück war das beste was wir auf unserer SA Reise hatten. Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden.

Everything about The Corner House was excellent. Our only downside about our stay was that We were not staying Longer Will definitely be recommending The Corner House to friends and family.

The guest house sits in such a pretty location only a walk away from Main Street but at the same time it’s very quiet! The veranda, gardens and pool area are just a delight! So lovely and beautiful! The room that we were given was beautifully decorated, simple and elegant! Michaela was so lovely and friendly and made sure that we have everything! The staff were also extremely sweet and helpful! Breakfast was great! An absolute success. From the set up of the tables to the coffee and all the varieties of food that we had, including a made to order choice of eggs!! On our last day, michaela was happy to let us stay an extra 3 hours after our check out time, so we enjoyed the pool and the garden since it was so hot!! Our only tiny complain would be that the bed even though was very comfortable with beautiful linen was quite short length wise. Me and my daughter are medium height. Someone taller would have a problem sleeping on that bed. The bathroom fittings could do with an update. We would happily stay again at the Corner House! A delight!!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und Restaurants oder die Wine-tram sind fußläufig erreichbar;es wird sehr viel Wert auf viele kleine Details gelegt,sei es im Zimmer oder auch beim Frühstück etc...die Terrasse lädt nachmittags zum entspannen ein inkl. super leckeren selbstgemachten Muffins und Kaffee/Tee;beim Frühstück gab es die größte Auswahl auf unserer Südafrikareise: Wurst/Käse/Müsli/Croissant/frisches Brot/Säfte/Smoothie/Sekt und dann eine eigene kleine Karte auf der man englisches Frühstück/Waffeln/Frensh Toast bestellen konnte!!!Wir waren begeistert und können dieses Hotel nur empfehlen!die Gastgeberin spricht zudem deutsch:-)

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was great, very comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast. Excellent location in walking distance of restaurants and the wine tram. We had a lovely stay at the Corner House Guest House and would definitely recommend them.

Excellent guest house in Franshoek
This small guest house is situated in a quiet area. It is only a few minutes walk to the main street. The price is very reasonable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff are friendly and there is parking inside a gate. I would certainly stay there again.

Peaceful area, yet 5mins away from the city centre. Welcome letter & bottle of wine as my father and I were celebrating our b'days. Speedy check-in, friendly staff, free parking, beautifully-maintained house & garden. Last but not least: huge & delicious breakfast spread (buffet à-la-carte). Thank you, we had a great stay!

Gostamos muito da cidade e da hospedagem. Tudo foi ótimo. A Guest House é muito bem cuidada e a equipe é gentil, atenciosa e prestativa. O café da manhã é bom e a opção à la carte (omeletes, etc) estava perfeita. Recomendo para todos.

Must stay!!
Perfect walking distance to the Main Street! Awesome stay with very friendly staff, beautiful grounds and large clean room! Fireplace was a bonus. The small touches were also very appreciated and made it feel so welcoming. Breakfast was by far one of the best we have had in a bed and breakfast. Fresh produce and the croissants were to die for.
