'Van buiten verwacht je het niet, maar het hotel is een verademing in de stad. Meteen in de lobby heerst er rust, het is modern en we werden altijd vriendelijk ontvangen en geholpen bij vragen. Niks was teveel moeite. De locatie is prettig vlakbij de Ciudad Amurallada en aan de rand van Getsemaní. Onze kamer was zeer ruim, lekker bed en alles in goede staat, plus een fijne douche. 'Excellent location, walking distance to old city, fort, etc. Check-in was smooth. The 2 standard room we originally got were not what we booked (Queen beds instead of King, room much smaller than we booked) but after addressing this, we got 2 other rooms matching our reservation. After 1 night, we asked to again switch 1 room since the airco smelled which they did. 'Perfect staff and location, gorgeous building. Staff made us feel like valued family members! Senior Perez doted on us at breakfasts (which were delicious) and was so kind - he even packed up a huge lunch for us to take hiking! When one of our excursions failed to pick us on on time, the front desk phoned the excursion company and when the driver did come, THREE staff members came out to scold him and even wrote down the license number for our added safety! 'A beautiful colonial-style hotel with traditional charm. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Note that speaking Spanish is helpful. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's rest. Highly recommend for a genuine, cozy experience!'

'The very best was how attentive the reception staff always were. Angela and the ither girl, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. 'The hotel Is a colonial house built by a French consul. Very nice atmosphere, only eight rooms, a patio, a library and stylish rooms with wooden ceilings. Situated in the middle of the city very convenient for visiting it and for finding nice restaurants'
