'Bisque del Cabo exceeded our expectations! The staff, villas, view from the villa, the food, grounds, and the wildlife on the grounds. A naturalist provides walking tours to discuss the wildlife which was very informative. We can’t say enough good things about our stat'

'We stayed 2 nights in Iguana Lodge, one before and one after our 3 day jungle trek through Corcovado NP. Perfect place to prepare and recover for a tough hike. Splendid contemporary rooms with ocean views, friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. Breakfast was a little basic. '

'Tres bel endroit, personnel attentionné et très gentil, le barman et manager Mario est toujours disponible pour repondre aux questions et organiser des tours. À quelques pas de ma plage, la nourriture est excellente, que ce soit au dejeuner au diner ou au souper. Seul petit bémol, il n’y a pas d’air climatisée dans les chambres donc un peu chaud mais il y avait tout de meme un ventilateur. '

'Prachtige lodge middenin het regenwoud. Je wordt wakker van de vogels en de apen springen door de bomen terrwijl je in de hangmat ligt. Je hebt erg veel privacy en het personeel is behulpzaam en erg vriendelijk!'

'I was at the last cabana on the ridge. It had a kitchen in an attached room. It was great to bring back leftovers, make coffee and enjoy local fruit. There were 2 beds, a king and queen. The shower was walk in and everything worked well and was very clean. I ate at the table on the patio, enjoyed the hammock, and entertained by a multitude of birds, ant eater and ajouti. I would definitely come back.'

'Hotel Villa Drake is a lovely small family run hotel at the top of the small town. The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am. They arranged tours for us and the father is also a taxi driver so took us to the airport at the end of our trip for a reasonable price. It is very easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach and we saw wildlife from our window everyday. There were even cappuchins playing on the...

'This is a very lovely spacious hotel in beautiful grounds backing on to a long sandy Pacific beach fringed with palm trees. It is accessed by an unmade road from Puerto Jiménez which takes about 20 minutes and is very bumpy but do not give up and follow the signs. The roome'

'Great location, rooms were clean but small and old fashioned. Electric shower head with loose wires. Price compared to rest of Costa Rica overpriced. Location was great however, close to the beach and start of tours to Corcovado. We paid around 100 euros a night for a standard room. You have to take some stairs for some rooms up hill so keep that in mind. '

'The rooms were spacious with a beautiful outlook. It is walkable to the town. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was plentiful. The staff were friendly. '

'This place is great: very conveniently located walking distance to the beach and airport. The room was clean and had air conditioning and WiFi. You could see animals right out the door including an iguana in the garden area, scarlet macaw flying overhead and a sloth down the road. Great price. Will be back! '
