Prima plek, dueña heel sociaal, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een handdoek lenen voor naar het strand was geen enkel probleem.

We enloyed out stay at Casa Karelia. It is within walking distance of the bus station and several restauarants including an easy breakfast place. Also 5 minutes from the beach, Family were lovely and gave me a card and a rose on my birthday. Helped us find all we needed.

Friendly hosts. Great comfortable and spacious room and courtyard. No breakfast available onsite, but great restaurants and coffee shops within 5-10 min walk. Secure parking available on-site Awesome location; beach accessible with less than 5 min walk.

Mein 4-tägiger Aufenthalt bei Casa Karelia hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Casa ist zum Glück abseits der grossen Resorthotels und ziemlich zentral an einer ruhigen Stelle im Dorf Varadero. Der Strand ist auch in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hat meine Vorstellungen exakt getroffen. Eigenes Bad ist vorhanden und die Wertsachen können in einem Safe hinterlegt werden. Das Bett ist äusserst bequem und ein Air Conditioner TV sind auch vorhanden. Zusätzlich zum Zimmer ist ein grosser hübscher Gartensitzplatz vorhanden, so dass man sich auch ausserhalb des Zimmers aufhalten kann. Karelia und Victor sind äusserst hilfsbereit und finden für jedes Problem eine Lösung. Ich habe über sie eine Tagestour nach Matanzas gebucht, die mir sehr gefallen hat. Ich kann das Casa Particular auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder bei Karelia und Victor buchen.

Karelia is a lovely host, she let me use the room for extra hours for a small charge. There is a nice garden patio to sit in. This is a great budget option in an expensive area. There is no breakfast and it is a 5-10 min walk to the nearest shops.

The room was exactly as described, with an excellent air conditioner. It was clean and well-maintained. The check-in process was smooth, and the hotel's location was perfect – close to the beach, making it convenient for us to enjoy the sun and sand. Lovely and Comfortable Stay
Lovely stay with Karelia and Victor. They know very little English, but we're warm and helpful and we did fine with our limited Español. There are no breakfasts offered now because Karelia told me sadly she could not obtain eggs or bread regularly because of food shortages. Very comfortable, a shirt 2 blocks to the beach. There was a bright street light right over our car parked out front so felt very safe, and there was plenty of available parking. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I was going back to Varadero.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Der Check-In war problemlos, die Gastgeberin war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Apartments war aus unserer Sicht ideal, es liegt zentral in der Nähe von guten Bars und Restaurants und etwas abseits der großen Hotelanlagen. Zum Strand sind es zwei Minuten zu Fuß. Die Unterkunft selbst war geräumig und sauber.

Séjour agréable dans la casa de Karelia avec tous les services proposés qui étaient conformes au descriptif. Nos hôtes nous ont indiqué les quelques lieux qu’ils connaissaient afin que nous puissions découvrir pleinement Varadero. La chambre était très spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner n’a pas pu être réalisé par nos hôtes à cause de leurs conditions d’approvisionnement ce qui nous a attristé pour nos hôtes et les cubains en général. Merci à nos hôtes.

Fomos bem recebidos e o quarto é muito bom e limpo. Proximo da praia (5 minutos caminhando) e com otima privacidade. A unica recomendacao que deixamos para melhorar é um fornecimento de toalhas para quem vai a praia. Nao ficou muito claro essa disponibilidade.

Lovely hosts, helpful and accommodating even with the language barrier. Very clean and excellent shower. Pleasant courtyard and ideal location. Comms were sketchy but I'm going to put that down to everything in Cuba being a little unreliable!

Very clean, great location, nice hosts. The hosts, Karolia and Victor are very nice, accommodating, always cleaning and keeping the property in excellent condition. The house is separated into two, with one half for the hosts and other renters, so not as private as I had anticipated. Also, not a lot of sound barrier between the two sides. The outside area is also shared by all tenants. However, overall it was a great rental, and I would stay here again. :)

Séjour très agréable à Varadero chez Karelia, charmante et souriante même si je ne parlais quasiment pas espagnol. Plutôt pas mal situé (proximité plage et restaurants). un seul bémol : un des matelas était trop mou et pour le dos ce n'est pas génial. Ravie de façon générale.

Ottimo, ma di preferenza tra Dicembre e Aprile
Karelia e suo marito Victor sono stati dei padroni di casa gentili e disponibili. La casa è carina, ordinata e in un'ottima posizione. Peccato che non servano la colazione. Sarebbe un bel punto in più per una struttura già ottima. Se non volete incontrare turisti stranieri e i locali semivuoti o chiusi non vi danno fastidio, allora potete andarci in agosto come abbiamo fatto noi. Credo però che l'inverno sia decisamente meglio

Had an excellent stay at this Casa. Karelia and Viktor were extremely kind and generous and really helped navigate the city for a first time visitor. The room was perfect-there was a TV and AC, and a beautiful yard to enjoy. Overall, everything was very comfortable. I used an app English to Spanish (available without wifi) which made conversation a lot easier. Thank you Karelia and Viktor for a great stay!

Excellent, like a little hotel. Very nice host who cleans perfectly. Two rooms, one at front with separate entrance and patio/porch. Large patio with tables at back (pictured). Less than 5min on foot to wonderful beach. Extremely good value for money. Wifi possible through host. Seriously intending to come back again some time.

Die Casa Karelia ist eine sehr schoene Unterkunft und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Uns hat es so gut gefallen das wir am Ende unserer Reise nochmal dort ubernachtet haben. Wer ruhe haben moechte und einen Einblick in das Kubanische Leben sollte auf jeden Fall in einer Casa uebernachtet und die Casa Karelia ist einfach perfekt!
