Cardiff By The Sea Retreat

Cardiff by the Sea is een romantisch surfdorp met prachtige stranden en ongelooflijk weer. Pak je spullen en ga naar Cardiff State Beach om te surfen, zwemmen of gewoon een ontspannen wandeling te maken. Het restaurant rij biedt een overvloed aan dineren aan het strand. Cardiff is de thuisbasis van Seaside Market, VG Donuts, tal van boetieks, winkels en lokale eetgelegenheden.

Genesteld tussen de steden Solana Beach en Encinitas is het een korte afstand naar de stad San Diego, bereikbaar via de "Coaster" onze lokale treindienst. De 'Del Mar Race Track' is 3. 2 mijl ten zuiden en "Legoland" in Carlsbad ligt op slechts 8 mijl ten noorden. De wereldberoemde San Diego Zoo, San Diego Safari Park en Sea World liggen op slechts 30 minuten afstand. Andere attracties zoals Disneyland en Knotts Berry Farm liggen op slechts 1,5 uur rijden ten noorden.

Deze gelijkvloerse woning is ontworpen met een open concept om binnen en buiten te entertainen. Pak uw ochtendkoffie en ga buiten op het terras zitten om de zonsopgang te bekijken. De woonkamer heeft een led-tv van 52 inch en een gashaard. Het komt uit op de patio / sportbar aan de achterkant. Het heeft ook een 52 inch led-tv, barkoelkast, gasbarbecue en veel zitplaatsen.

In de volledig uitgeruste keuken kunt u gastronomische maaltijden bereiden voor uw familie en vrienden. Het heeft travertijnvloeren, granieten werkbladen en een drijvend eiland. Het heeft tal van kleine apparaten, koffiezetapparaat, broodrooster, mixer, magische kogel, crockpot, rijstkoker, handmixer en eetservies voor acht personen. Je kunt erin koken of uit eten gaan.
Het huis heeft overal wifi.
Het zonnedek biedt het hele jaar door uitzicht op de oceaan / zonsondergang die zich uitstrekt van Oceanside tot Torrey Pines. Op een heldere dag zie je de eilanden voor de kust van San Clemente.

Super Stay in San Diego area

This home was perfect for our stay in San Diego! Located just a bit north of the city, Cardiff on the Sea is a captivating and beautiful community with beaches, shops, and restaurants close to the San Diego Botanic Garden. We wished we had more time to explore the town! We loved being so close to San Diego, yet in a more relaxing environment with a small town feel. The home was comfortable and beautiful. The living area was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable. Great shower in the master bathroom. It’s so nice when there are directions for everything and no mysteries as to how to connect to WiFi etc! We loved the outdoor area with bar, lots of seating, a great grill. We ended every evening watching the sunset on the top deck. We were close enough to UCSD to enjoy graduation activities there. Also close enough to Balboa Park and Zoo, about 25 minutes. Host was super accommodating too.

Beautiful, comfortable, and spotless

My husband and I brought our 21 year old niece from the East Coast to watch pro live surfing. We loved the area and were super impressed with this home. It was beautiful inside and out! We loved sitting on the back patio area and watching tv by the outside bar. The housevwas stocked with everything we needed. We loved havubg the garage with the beach supplies. Washer, abd dryer! Wish we could've stayed longer! It was a peefect location and easy travel back and forth to the Trestles Pro, La Jolla, Encinitas,Oceanside etc. Thank you for the awesome home there!

Amazing views of ocean! Well equipt kitchen

Our group of 4 felt like we won the lottery with this amazing home with distant views of the ocean from the kitchen window and an expansive view of the ocean from the rooftop patio. We loved the outdoor kitchen and bar for hanging out and remote work. Sunsets on the rooftop were spectacular. We are serious home cooks and the kitchen had literally everything we could possibly need cookware and tool wise. Cardiff was a great spot away from the crowds and traffic of LaJolla with quick access to beautiful Solana Beach and charming seaside destinations from Del Mar to Encinitas. We will stay here again for sure!

Perfect stay in Cardiff

The house was perfect for our stop in San Diego on our road trip. My husband and I stayed for 5 days and also worked a few days from home, even spent a few of those outside on the patio! The house is nicely updated and well equipped. It’s in a nice neighborhood that is close to downtown Encinitas and the freeway as well as the beach. The only thing I would mention is that there is a natural gas smell in the garage. It’s not that strong and the owner was very responsive when I mentioned it and came to check it with a meter. We loved our stay overall.

Great house close to everything!

We had a wonderful time at the Cardiff house. The house was very clean and is only a mile to the beach, great restaurants, and shops. George was extremely responsive. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The best part is the upper deck with views of the ocean. We’d go up there every morning for yoga and breakfast, and at the end of the day for sunsets. If I were to mention any negatives it would be that you can’t regulate the heat in the house yourself. It has a set program, so if it gets cold, like it did when we were there, George will have to change the program to make it warmer from his end. Also, you can hear the Hwy which is just a few blocks down the hill. But we didn’t notice that after a while. We look forward to staying there again sometime!

Great house in a cozy town

I really liked this house. It's very spacious with lots of areas to hang out in, inside and outside. The master bed is amazingly comfortable and I really loved being able to access the backyard from there as well. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of pots/pans/devices which was a nice touch. There's a high chair and a packnplay in the garage which will be a lifesaver for anyone planning on bringing a little one. Check in was easy, house was clean and welcoming and the sunset view from the sun deck is not to be missed. I highly recommend this house and I hope to return some day.

Excellent stay in Cardiff!

Great communication from the host, and an excellent location in a nice quiet neighborhood close to everything! Very clean with everything you need, for a comfortable stay with a great west-facing backyard and upper deck to enjoy the sunsets. We are two adults plus our two french bulldogs. Everyone was happy staying here. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.
