We have stayed here many times , but were so sad to see the poor state of the hotel this time. Wallpaper peeling off walls, ‘splash’ stains up the walls, out of order lifts, and an absolute lack of parking. No real advice was offered as to where we could park, and my husband ended up parking quite far away……
The room was perfectly clean, as was the bathroom, but the poor condition made it feel ‘grubby’
The breakfast was excellent, and everything was well presented.
Upon check-out we found the receptionist to be rude, but when I returned to pick up our case they were very very friendly-maybe they were having a bad day!!
Will probably not look to stay here again, as I feel this beautiful hotel needs a bit more care then is given
