'For the price point you can’t go wrong . Parking is hit and miss ( random weekday was no problem ) but need to arrive close to check in or super late for a parking space on site. Lots of parking options nearby though ( Frankwell ) . Easy to check in at bar and the rooms are clean and well stocked ( tea tray / water / soap and towels ) Really homely feel and super friendly. 'Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. 'Great hotel in a nice area. Car park is a little tight and first come first serve but the ncp car park is literally opposite this hotel. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, we also had dinner in the restaurant which was amazing. My only complaint was the people above our studio room where thundering around which was noisy but I’m not 100% sure if that belonged to the hotel as we had to exit the hotel and go round the corner to get to our room (studio 45)'
