The beds where very hard the staff at check out was nonexistent I had to wait 20-30 minutes to checkout and I was in a late to my sons board patrol graduation due to the lady at check out was very slow at getting out of the restroom there was several people waiting to checkout and she was just not very nice or in a hurry

We asked for a king size bed.....upon arrival all they had regarding king size bed the only one was on the third floor and there was NO elevator. We took two queen beds first floor as we are seniors with limited mobility. Towel rack was gone. Loud noise of chld running overhead late into the night making us wonder if any adult was there. BIGGEST concern was entrace door at rear no security on it did not lock ....card entry was totally broken. Washing machines literally in main corridor. We were very disappointed appearance of being a dump. Add from which we booked said they had a "breakfast" actually NO they have not had one since COVID!!!

There was no breakfast although the application said it included it. An Indu girl was super bad treatment, she didn't let me check if there were still some drinks that I had forgotten in the refrigerator the morning we left, we returned in the afternoon to ask about the drinks or to let me check and she didn't let me, she didn't let me either He wanted to check that because it wasn't his job. She asked me if they cost a lot, I told her less and I better left.

Staff shows so much attitude and rooms are dirty and shower tubs are peeling and refrigerator are dirty and even bathroom doors doesn’t have knobs to close it. Have informed to staff and they never acknowledge their mistake and they blamed us that it’s my mistake. And even the kid went into the bathroom and got locked and it took quiet sometime for management to unlock the door and get the kid out of bathroom. So horrible and terrible.

Breakfast is STILL listed as being served after several complaints in reviews. As of January 10, 2024 it is NOT. Sign in the lobby says this is due to COVID. Housekeeping went into our room before checkout time when there was a 'Do Not Disturb' hanger on the door and removed all of our personal belongings. Poorly managed property.

Manager was a bit of an idiot, either didn't understand that the batteries in doors do dead, or didn't understand how to use key card machine. Other clerk was great. Room was in poor condition, especially the floor, badly needed replacement. Not very clean, sink wouldn't drain, etc.

This was a scary place. The card reader for the back door was smashed and there was no control over access. The walls in the bathroom had multiple holes where towel bars had been pulled off. There were patches in odd places that appeared to be repaired holes. When you entered the back door, you were confronted with 2 sets of steps. The steps going down were dark and the lighting near our door was dim. The water never got hot, just lukewarm. My husband went to the lobby to get coffee. The clerk rudely told him to use his "room coffee". We had been on a trip and this was the last stop, having stayed 3 nights in previous Super 8s. Those were clean, well lit, had personable clerks and offered breakfast and coffee. Yet the price charged in Carlsbad was slightly higher. Avoid this hotel.

At first glance this hotel was ok for a budget hotel but further investigation showed many issues. Hallway and stairs were full of dried mud (probably brought in my one of the guest). First of all walk into room and no TV remote. Front desk handed us one that did not work. Had to wait 30 min for maintenance to get TV going. The next morning went to take a shower and the handle fell off in my husbands hand. Luckily he could force the shower to turn one. Told the lady at the front desk and she said the property was having issues all over with shower handles. Not acceptable. I am ready to give up on all super 8 properties. Franchise owners to not seem to want to keep their properties in reasonable shape. Once again I am ashamed to be a Wyndham stockholder.

Checked in for 2 days and let them know that the remote and the phone didn't work, the towel rack was broken off the wall. 2 days later no phone , no remote , no one even looked! Also no breakfast which it says on the web sight and on the plaques on the wall, but they quit that a year or 2 ago. After 20 years in the resort industry I could tell none of these problems just happened. The back security door had a note on it , not to let it lock shut. "Are you kidding me"

Super 8 are very incosistent in quality. This one was not safe they had people drinking and partying in the parking lot. The door handle to our room broke and locked us in the room. The bathtub had peeling plastic on it. I will not stay here again.

The evening (after 3:00 on a Sunday) staff needed to be called (number by the desk), only stairs (no elevator), partying all night in multiple rooms (loud - barely any sleep), and NO breakfast available despite claiming “free breakfast.” Cleaning woman was pleasant after knocking on our door - this was the only positive interaction.

The hotel room and hallways were disgusting. Hallway and stairwells had the same grime and trash for all three days we were there, clearly not having been vacuumed at all. Paid for two queen beds, upon arrival was informed only one bed in room. When asked clerk about price difference I was informed "there is no difference in price". I like the location of the propert. Staff was friendly. I did not like that I booked this location takimg into account the continental breakfast option, only to arrive and find out that there were no breakfast options available.

Front clerk didn’t know how to work hotel system owner had to come out and enter CC info, that were prepaid. After 1:45 min. NO BREAKFAST!!!!! Like it says on their listing. I was given 1 room that already had a guest😡!! Have another room with no shower handle😡 to open water. Gave me another room and the key didn’t work 3 times I had to go back to have it reprogrammed this is the WORST I’VE STAYED IN. DO NOT STAY HERE back door if not shut securely anyone can walk right in. And ofcourse they wouldn’t give me my money back to go somewhere else I have photos I’ll be posting.

No ice machines working. Staff unhelpful. Hot and too expensive. No service. Extremely inconvenient and not worth the money.

Muy buen hotel fui por un fin d semana y muy agusto, limpio, tranquilo, apesar q ahi muchos trabajadores d la linea no habia ruidos a la hra q salian a trabajar muy amable la chica q nos recibio pedi cambio d toallas al siguiente dia y muy guapas nos cambiaron cobijas limpiaron el baño apesar q solo pedimos las toallas
